As you shave, the product can become a bit thick, so you need to add a little water. This is more annoying than you might expect. However, it feels wasteful to apply too much gel at once.

Transparency. I used to wonder why this was an advantage when using shaving foam, but after trying it, I immediately understood. Being transparent allows you to check your shaving progress instantly. While you can feel it with your hands, seeing it directly enables a much more thorough shave and lets you monitor any skin redness or irritation.

The scent isn't bothersome. I tried another brand's product recently, and while it worked well, the smell was awful. I didn't think fragrance mattered much, but it was quite disturbing. (I finished it because I didn't want to waste it, but it was a bit of a struggle.) The Lazy Society one doesn't have any offensive smell, nor is it particularly pleasant. It's just right.

This is my third repurchase, and I think the two advantages above are the most significant. I don't believe this product necessarily reduces cuts or prevents blemishes. Cuts are an inherent issue with shaving (laser hair removal is the only real solution for that), and blemishes are more about post-shave care and razor hygiene.

It contains tea tree, so I don't worry about blemishes.

The volume is a bit on the small side for body use.

I use this for full body hair removal! I generally prefer gel-type shaving products without foam, but my sensitive skin often gets blemishes after hair removal.
