  Pros

  I was debating whether to bleach my hair myself or go to a salon for my pink dye job. After much deliberation, I decided to do it at home and came across L'Oreal Paris Excellence Bleach Supreme during my research. It seemed perfect for DIY, so I bought it! It was my first time doing a full bleach, and I was worried I'd mess it up. But even though I didn't section my hair and just applied it haphazardly, there were surprisingly few patches for a home job! The best part was how gentle it felt on my scalp - even less irritating than when I've had my hair colored at salons. My hair didn't get as damaged as I feared either! Maybe it's thanks to the treatment, but while the ends are a bit tangled when brushing, it's manageable without much trouble. If I ever need to bleach my hair again, I'll definitely use L'Oreal Paris Excellence Bleach Supreme once more! (The first photo shows the results after one bleaching session, and the second photo is after the second session.)

  Cons

  It's pricier than other bleaching products (though I think it's worth it!), and the smell is quite strong. It stings the eyes and the odor is so intense it was really tough to handle. I'd recommend using it in an open space like a living room rather than a bathroom with poor ventilation if possible! Also, while the product images suggest you can achieve a near-platinum blonde with one application, even after two bleaching sessions, the best I could get was a golden blonde with lots of yellow tones. That was a bit disappointing. Overall, I'm still satisfied though!

  I think the key is to apply it thoroughly and generously!
