  This is a colorless (white) mineral sunscreen. I'm on my third bottle! As expected from a mineral sunscreen, it does leave a white cast. Personally, I found it gave a nice brightening effect. From the perspective of someone with blemish-prone combination dehydrated skin, I'm pleased it doesn't trigger breakouts. It's just right for combination skin - slightly rich but not overly so. I keep repurchasing because it's perfect for days when my skin feels a bit drier than usual. It absorbs well, so I find myself reaching for it often. It's also great for applying on the neck and arms.

  Cons

  My family shares this sunscreen, and some have mentioned a slight tingling sensation a few hours after application. Those with super sensitive skin should take note!

  Pros

  I bought this sunscreen looking for something that could be used by my 4-year-old, my active 8-year-old boy, and myself as an adult. After using stick and compact types, I find this one applies much better and allows for more thorough coverage. It's practically fragrance-free, doesn't sting the eyes, and hasn't caused any blemishes on the children's faces.

  Cons

  There's nothing major to complain about. It seems like we might go through it quickly, but I'll need to use it more to really know how well it protects against the sun.

  After using it for about 3 weeks, here's my assessment: First off, it's incredibly gentle. I have combination dehydrated skin that's extremely sensitive, so whenever I switch products, I usually have an allergic reaction to anything with yellow-flagged ingredients on Hwahae. However, with this one, I didn't experience any reactions or blemishes. It leaves minimal white cast and absorbs well. In my opinion, it would be hard to find a better sunscreen than this.

  To be honest, I can't really think of any downsides. Everything about it is fine. If I had to nitpick, I'd say that like all mineral sunscreens, it can be a bit of a hassle to wash off before bed. Other than that, it's all good.
