It has great staying power and provides good coverage while keeping skin hydrated. This is definitely an item I keep coming back to every summer. I feel like it doesn't conceal pores very well... It does offer coverage, but... While the product has its strengths in longevity and moisture, it may not be ideal for those specifically looking to minimize the appearance of pores. The coverage is decent, but its effectiveness in addressing pore concerns seems limited. - fj**********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 9, 2025
- Skin type: Oily skin, oily T-zone, concerns about dead skin cells I have oily skin, but if it's too matte, it emphasizes flaky skin around my nose, which I don't like. So it took me a while to find the right foundation. - Pros: Much lighter than budget cushions It feels like it melts into the skin nicely when applied - Cons: Too much product comes out on the puff (Before buying, I saw reviews saying it was runny, but it's not) If coverage is important to you, avoid this product! (As it's light, don't expect high coverage) - Overall: Great for oily skin types who want a matte finish even in winter I plan to use it except during summer! I'm also using the foundation, but the cushion is more hydrating than the foundation (Good for dry skin types too, unless you have extremely dry skin) Good for very oily skin types to use except in summer Product residue builds up on the inner lid after use - su******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 23, 2025
The coverage is light yet effective, unlike the heavy makeup typically associated with middle-aged women's products. It covers well while feeling weightless! The cushion formula is also great! There's nothing particularly bad, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say that the case tends to smudge a bit when carried in a bag. However, this might be a common issue with all cushion compacts. - ls********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 7, 2024
It applies thinly, giving a natural look. The color brightens up elegantly, making the complexion appear more refined. As someone with existing blemishes, I find that due to the nature of cushion foundations, it's not particularly suitable for troubled skin. Rather than breaking down over time, it tends to get a bit oily. Using blotting paper and reapplying actually improves its coverage significantly compared to the initial application. - sm*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesApr 28, 2024
It has a semi-matte finish, but as time passes and natural oils come through, your skin looks even more beautiful. The salmon color works well for cool skin tones. It's closer to salmon than pink. Suitable for combination dehydrated skin. It tends to clump, so you need to pat and blend it carefully. Pore coverage isn't great. Ironically, it improves as your natural oils come through over time. It applies semi-matte, but feels sticky when using the puff. Unlike moisturizing, dewy cushions, it has an unpleasant, paste-like stickiness. Despite this texture, it's not actually hydrating - it might feel a bit dry in winter. The mesh net makes the inside look messy when opened. I worried about leaks, but it never seeped out of the case. The packaging looks tacky, though the foundation color is nice. As someone with sensitive skin, I noticed blemishes developing around my brow and nose area with continued use. It's strange how it feels oily yet applies semi-matte (closer to matte) and clumps. Maybe it's because of the mesh net design? It doesn't seem to work well with the puff. Feels like a waste of money. I'm reluctantly using it for quick outings near home. Changing the puff improved the application, reducing stickiness and slightly enhancing pore coverage. - je******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 10, 2023
It has decent coverage when you look in a large mirror. Though it seems like it might apply thickly, it actually goes on quite thin. It makes my fair skin look vibrant and full of life. The lid is stiff to open, and the area around it gets messy easily, so I had to wipe it with tissues several times. The high price is a bit of a drawback... I guess it's somewhat fortunate I bought it duty-free? The puff feels hard and doesn't seem to apply well, but when I use a puff I bought from Olive Young, it applies much better. The included puff is stiff, making it difficult to apply around the nose area. I recommend using a softer puff for better application. - su**********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 7, 2023
The coverage is medium. First off, the color is natural and beautiful. It's also quite moisturizing. I use it with MAC primer, and they work so well together that I've been using this combination every day lately. It tends to leak in my bag, unfortunately. I really don't understand why they designed it this way. That's the most disappointing part. Still, it works so well for me that I'll probably have to repurchase it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 10, 2023
It applies thinly but still provides natural coverage, which I love. It's neither dry nor oily, maintaining a perfect matte finish that seems to last all day. The coverage isn't particularly high, and if you're not careful with the mesh puff at first, too much product can come out. - st********Normal SkinRecommendedOct 29, 2023
It adheres well to the skin. The fragrance is pleasant. It doesn't transfer. It doesn't cause any blemishes. Since it's mesh, you might use it wastefully or it could float around. I use it sparingly to avoid waste. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 21, 2023
It was great in summer, but now that winter's here, it's way too drying... so disappointing! The amount seems a bit small, and the puff isn't as durable as I expected
