Pros- Color:
The lovely pink-beige shade is truly beautiful. On my skin, which usually takes shade 17, it matches my neck color perfectly, almost making my neck look a bit brighter. While it doesn't necessarily give a radiant effect, the color itself is really pretty. To me, it feels like it's closer to a 20.5 shade, slightly lighter than 21.
- Coverage:
The coverage is absolutely incredible. It's like a concealer. You apply just a little, but then you wonder, 'Did I use too much?' When you check, you realize it was indeed just a small amount... It offers concealer-level coverage, and it seems highly pigmented, allowing you to cover your entire face with minimal product.
- Adherence:
The adherence is fantastic. There's no patchiness, it clings to the skin smoothly, and stays put until night.
- Semi-matte finish:
Given its high coverage, you might expect it to be drying, but for me, it wasn't matte at all. It had more of a semi-matte finish, and with proper skincare, even those with dry skin could use it comfortably. In fact, with thorough skincare, it can even feel somewhat moisturizing at times.
- Longevity:
The staying power is pretty good. Setting it with powder enhances its durability. Since it adheres well without emphasizing flakiness or dead skin cells, I used it successfully during my trip to Vietnam last year.
ConsPeople mention oxidation, but honestly, I'm not sure if it's that noticeable... The original Stay formula had severe oxidation, but this one doesn't seem to have much. It just gets a bit oily over time?
However, it might occur if your skincare base is too heavy... Anyway, it doesn't seem significant to me...
As time passes, oil does come through, so it's not the most oil-resistant product. Still, touch-ups adhere well, so I was satisfied with blotting the oil and reapplying.
