After dyeing my hair a few times, it became unmanageable post-shampoo, so I bought this. I love the Moroccan oil scent, so I purchased it along with my usual products. It's lightweight and absolutely wonderful!

The lightweight moisture content did not effectively manage the frizzy appearance of my hair.

The fragrance is so lovely. The luxurious scent lasts for a long time. It is not sticky and applies smoothly, and even after my hair is completely dry, it does not feel heavy or thick when applied.

The reason I took off one star is that the standalone effects are a bit lacking, and the price-to-volume ratio is a bit high. And the disappointing thing is that the scent is similar to the oil, but the oil has a better scent, and this has a slightly more sour(?) fragrance that's a bit stronger. I have a fine, weak, and dehydrated hair type on my oily scalp. I haven't dyed or permed my hair in over 5 years, and I only occasionally use a curling iron. According to my hairstylist, my hair is normal? Slightly damaged? They said my hair is averagely damaged. Even with an oily scalp, I usually use a small amount of hair oil. I wanted to try different formulas, and since I've been using Moroccan hair oil well, I chose this hair lotion. After using it, my hair definitely feels less weighed down and less oily, but the effects are a bit less than with the oil. However, when I use oil and a curling iron, my hair gets very damaged, so I always use this lotion alone then. And when I apply this smoothing lotion and then hair oil, the synergistic effect is surprisingly good - my hair doesn't get as weighed down and is super soft. So I've been using both regularly. Using them together is better than using either one alone, and of course, using this is better than using nothing at all. I plan to repurchase this.
