This pencil liner strikes a perfect balance between eyeshadow and eyeliner, specializing in creating natural-looking depth and dimension. Its smooth application and subtle color payoff make it ideal for everyday shading techniques. The creamy texture allows for effortless smudging without clumping, perfect for achieving that soft, lived-in look. Even beginners can easily add subtle definition to their under-eye area and outer corners. It blends beautifully, doubling as an eyeshadow, and resists smudging even after using an eyelash curler. The understated color intensity is just right for daily wear. The staying power isn't exceptionally long-lasting, so those with oily eyelids might need to pair it with a primer to prevent smudging. The brush-pen format can be a bit tricky at first - if you're not careful with pressure control, you might end up with a line that's too intense. But don't worry, you'll get the hang of it with practice! For those with super sensitive skin, this product works hard to minimize irritation while still delivering a beautiful inner glow. It's perfect for layering in your daily makeup routine, helping to even out your complexion without feeling sticky or causing pilling. The formula absorbs well, leaving your skin feeling hydrated without any excess oiliness. - mo*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2025
Great for drawing under-eye shadows! It's more pigmented than expected, so you need to apply it in one go. If you apply too much skincare, use a dewy cushion foundation, and skip powder, it tends to clump up like excess powder. - ko*********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 8, 2025
I bought this to create aegyo-sal, but I love that it's versatile enough to use all over. Personally, I found it warmer than I expected. Maybe that's because I thought it would be cooler in my mind. The blending isn't as good as I hoped. It's difficult to blend once applied. For those who use brown for the outer corner, apply eyeshadow first, then this liner, and then eyeshadow again on top for a pretty look. Also, if you use eyelid glue, applying this liner over it creates a more natural appearance. - pa***********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 23, 2025
I loved how the 30% shadow wasn't too intense, creating a natural aegyo-sal effect. It was also great for subtly lifting the outer corners of my eyes for a natural look. The only downside was that if you don't close the cap properly, the brush can bend. Other than that, everything was fantastic. - ey******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRednessRecommendedMar 17, 2025
I've been using this for almost a year now! I've gone through 2 tubes and bought 2 more during an Olive Young 1+1 sale. I've tried both the 20% and 30% versions. If you're planning to use it for aegyo sal (under-eye puffiness), I'd recommend going for the 30%. One swipe of the 30% is equivalent to about 4 swipes of the 20%. However, if you prefer a more subtle look, go for the 20% and apply it 4 times. The color is slightly different between the two. In the photo, the top swatch is one application of 20%, the middle is 30%, and the bottom is 20% applied 4 times. The staying power for all three seems pretty good! If you apply too many layers, it can start to pill and flake off like dead skin cells. This happens especially with the 20% when applied 4 times. However, even if it pills, it still leaves some color behind. I recommend blending it with your fingers. Also, you can use the 30% version on your aegyo sal as well as your rear eye corners for a brightening effect. - gh*************Dry SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 20, 2025
Personally, I found this perfect for drawing aegyo-sal (under-eye puffiness)! It doesn't smudge too much, so I bought shades 30 and 70. I use 30 for aegyo-sal and 70 for creating a crease. I didn't really notice any downsides. If I had to mention something, blending was slightly challenging. - 2v********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 6, 2025
I'm seriously obsessed with aegyo-sal (under-eye puffiness) - I won't even go out to crowded places without it! But for school, it's not really appropriate to wear full makeup. That's why I was looking for a subtle aegyo-sal liner, and this product is my savior! My friends didn't even realize I'd been applying it all this time. They thought I wasn't wearing any makeup at all! If only the price could be lowered just a bit, I'd make this my go-to aegyo-sal product for life. - w8********Combination SkinAcne SkinDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 31, 2025
It draws on so naturally, the price is affordable, and it has great staying power The amount might be a tad small? But since it's so cheap, I don't really mind. I'll definitely buy it again today - yo*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 25, 2025
I don't suit heavy eyeliner, so I use this for subtle shading and it's absolutely perfect! It sets quickly, so it doesn't smudge, and the staying power is fantastic. With this one product, I can do undereye shading, eyeline contouring, and even highlight my aegyo sal. It's a total game-changer! There are no downsides! It's seriously amazing. If you're someone who doesn't look good with intense eyeliner, try this for a gentle contour effect right away! - go******Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 18, 2025
Pigmentation when applied 1, 2, and 3 times: I bought this for under-eye shadows, but after applying my base makeup (I usually use Espoir shade 20), I found it darker than expected, so I didn't reach for it often. It might work well for those with slightly darker complexions. The product itself is good, so next time I'll probably buy the 20% version. If you're debating between 20% and 30%, I'd recommend the 20%. Though I haven't tried it, the color intensifies with layering, so 20% should be sufficient.
