It's great for easily covering gray hair. If you leave it on and then wash, the color sets nicely. This could be really handy if you're tired of frequent salon visits for coloring. The abundant, soft lather translates to great cleansing effectiveness. It works perfectly for my extremely oily scalp. While it's excellent at removing excess oil, I appreciate that it doesn't leave my hair feeling overly stiff after washing. The gentle feel actually seems to boost volume at the roots and crown. The scent is pleasant with a soft, long-lasting fragrance that I really enjoy. I don't think it's a polarizing scent at all! Now, for the most crucial part - the gray-covering effect...! To be honest, I was skeptical, but after using it for over a week, I've noticed my white grays have taken on a slightly yellowish? brownish? tint! They say the effects become more noticeable after two weeks of use, so I plan to keep using it consistently! I'm satisfied seeing the grays gradually being covered, even to the naked eye. I'm not sure about its effectiveness in reducing hair loss yet, but I'm willing to trust Dr. Groot and keep using it. Above all, it's gentle and non-irritating. While it doesn't treat scalp acne, dandruff, or dead skin cells, I'm glad it doesn't make these issues worse. Honestly, it's a bit pricey, so I might not be able to purchase it frequently, which is a shame. Still, dyeing my grays 1-2 times a month was such a hassle. Being able to cover them easily with just a shampoo... I have no regrets! Be careful, as it can naturally stain your nails, hands, or bathroom floor if left on for too long. I'm using it very cautiously too!
