Great for combination dehydrated skin! It offers good protection and absorbs well, leaving skin feeling moisturized. Unlike some products that dry out too quickly and cause patchiness on combination skin, this one doesn't do that. The slight whitening effect from the sunscreen actually helps even out your complexion, making it possible to go bare-faced. It can cause some eye irritation and feels a bit greasy. While it does give a glow, there's a sticky oiliness to it. Might not be the best choice for winter. - ej****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 22, 2025
I'm leaving a review after trying a sample and finding it quite nice. It applies smoothly like an emulsion, and while it has that slight lingering feeling typical of mineral sunscreens, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. As time passes, it produces enough oil to make it great for use in the dry winter months. The biggest advantage is that it doesn't sting the eyes at all! It's easy to cleanse off, and you don't really need a second cleanse, which is convenient. There's a noticeable cosmetic scent, so I wouldn't recommend it for those sensitive to fragrances. It seems to produce quite a bit of oil, so it might not be suitable for oily skin types. - th**********Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsMar 21, 2025
The scent was lovely, reminiscent of sunscreen. It gave me the feeling of being on a beach vacation. Plus, it felt refreshingly cool when applied. At first, it felt nice after application, but soon an excessive amount of oil surfaced. As someone with dry skin, I was completely surprised. But that's not all - after a while, blemishes started appearing on my face. A few hours later, my cheeks became extremely red. Worst of all, my eyes began to sting terribly, causing a flood of tears. The burning sensation in my eyes was unbearable. My tip would be to avoid buying this if possible. However, my mom seemed to use it without any issues. - pt********Dry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2025
Honestly, there's nothing particularly good to mention. If I had to say something, maybe it applies smoothly? First off, it's quite greasy, which doesn't create a flattering glow but rather makes your skin texture look poor, like there's excess oil sitting on top. As someone with dry skin, I usually welcome a bit of shine that comes with hydration, but this? It's like an oil film that oddly makes your skin surface feel rough. This effect worsens over time. Most alarmingly, I experienced what seemed like cosmetic poisoning or an allergic reaction for the first time using this. By the evening of application, my entire face turned red and bumpy. Even after washing and applying aloe, it didn't subside. I woke up with extremely swollen eyelids... It was so severe that I wondered if it was possible for a product to cause such a dramatic reaction all over my face. I have somewhat sensitive skin, so I'm usually careful about ingredients and stick to gentle products. I guess I forgot how sensitive I can be. Looking at the ingredients, there are so many unnecessary ones. Starting with alcohol, then fragrances, various cautionary ingredients, and allergens... These days, there are plenty of effective cosmetics that don't include any of these. Especially for sunscreen, which only needs to do its main job of UV protection well. This product is completely unnecessary. I'm glad I got it as a sample and didn't spend money on it. On the flip side, since it's a sample, I can't even request help or compensation, and I'm at a loss for how long this reaction will last. I still have two more samples left, but I'm wary of even giving them to family members to use. There are many Korean-made sunscreens that are cheaper and better than this one. - ch**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessFeb 24, 2025
My husband is using it well. As for me, I have super sensitive skin, so I can't use just anything. Unfortunately, it caused an allergic reaction for me. I'm trying to figure out which ingredient is the culprit for these blemishes. - 20********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 15, 2025
Absorbs smoothly and feels lightweight on the skin. Perfect for applying before makeup. Seems suitable for all skin types, whether dry or oily. It appears to function solely as sun protection. No particular drawbacks to mention. - jm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 10, 2025
I love how smoothly it applies and that it doesn't irritate my skin! I find mineral sunscreens too thick and they feel like they're clogging my pores, while chemical sunscreens apply well but their sun protection feels lacking. This one, however, has a nice texture and seems to offer great UV protection! My skin is combination dehydrated, but when I apply this, it oddly makes me look super shiny, as if I'm covered in grease. It's so glossy that I need to use oil blotting sheets. It's very rich in oils. If you have oily skin and are considering Anessa, I'd recommend a different line from their range! I don't think I'll be able to use this in summer. - ka*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 1, 2025
It adheres perfectly to the skin and makeup applies beautifully over it. It seems to provide excellent sun protection as well. There's a noticeable alcohol scent, which makes me hesitant to use it when my skin is feeling super sensitive. - od***Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 30, 2024
It's great to use any time except midsummer. No irritation and no pilling when applied before makeup. There's a slight alcohol scent. And because it feels so nice on the skin, I'm a bit concerned about its sun protection effectiveness. - ld****Combination SkinRecommendedNov 19, 2024
It absorbs well and feels moisturizing. I get the sense that it provides good sun protection. It's on the oily side, so it might not be suitable for those with oily skin.
