1. As soon as you apply it, your skin feels like velvet. When the velvet melts, it forms an oil coating that absorbs well into the skin without sitting on top. 2. The ingredients didn't cause any blemishes or irritation. 3. While it's true that the dimethicone gives an immediate velvety feel, with consistent use, you'll notice improved skin resilience and a soft texture that goes beyond the temporary effects of dimethicone. 4. It has great absorption - you only need a small amount to cover your entire face when applied after your serum step. 5. It's rich enough to replace your night cream, so you don't necessarily need an additional moisturizer. 6. The texture after application is lovely. It makes your skin feel as soft as a baby's, which is so satisfying when you touch your face. *The price is actually 465,000 won, not 379,000 won. 1. The oil and emulsion layers separate, so you need to shake it well before each use. The 150ml glass container is already heavy, and having to shake it makes it feel even heavier. 2. Like Crème de la Mer, it has a dual-layer structure. When applied, the first layer needs to melt with your skin's heat to form the oil coating, then you wait a bit more for it to absorb. It's time-consuming and cumbersome to go through these three stages for one emulsion. 3. Although it's called an emulsion, it's not a watery emulsion like the Advanced Treatment Emulsion. It's more of an oily+creamy emulsion. While the Advanced Treatment Emulsion can replace your toner step, this one is best used right before your cream. It's so rich that if you have oily skin, I recommend using this as your final step without adding cream on top. 4. It's extremely rich, so I don't recommend using it in the morning or applying makeup over it. This emulsion can replace most night creams. 5. As someone with combination to oily skin, I didn't experience any blemishes, but it's quite rich, so I'd recommend it more for dry skin types than oily. Also, if you lack hydration, this won't deeply hydrate your skin. I didn't have issues as I don't have combination dehydrated skin, but if you have dry skin underneath, you'll need to use a hydrating serum or moisturizer separately. 6. Although it's called an emulsion, it feels like a serum or a watery cream, so it's unclear at which step to use it. However, it doesn't feel sufficient to use this alone from a functional perspective. *I recommend using this after your serum step. *If you have dry skin, finish with a hydrating moisturizer. If you have oily skin without deep dryness, you can finish with this product alone. *I recommend using it only at night.
