The only downside is the price.
The price is just too high, unfortunately.

First, the scent is intoxicating. It's like a perfume, but also like a soap scent. Even after washing my face, the scent lingered on my hands for a long time.

The lather is also really great. Most importantly, it lathers up very smoothly. Normally when a product feels soft, the cleansing power is a bit lacking, but this one has a satisfying scrubbing sensation and great cleansing power.

As soon as I finished washing my face, my sister asked what I had done, saying my face looked so bright. The smoothness and radiance of my skin was visibly improved.

For someone like me who used to just use any old face wash, this is a whole new world of face cleansers. I never realized before that there could be a product so well-suited to my skin until I tried this one.

Price was the only factor... I had used other brand cleansing foams before, and my skin ended up irritated. Then I asked the store clerk for a recommendation and blindly bought this product at the checkout, desperate to solve my skin concerns. If you're already using a decent cleansing product, there's really no need to switch to this one.

The product is incredibly gentle, and there's no tight, dry feeling after cleansing. Instead, it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and improved. Even eye makeup comes off cleanly with just two washes, without the need for a separate eye makeup remover.

- It's best to use this in the evening to finish off the day. Your skin will be well-nourished and cared for.
- If you're already using other La Mer products, I recommend using this together. I'm a 2-year La Mer user and I wonder why I didn't start using this cleansing foam sooner.

- The price range is quite high, though
But there are frequent sales and events, so it's great to stock up when the timing is right!
- In the morning or when your skin is already dry, you may feel a slight tightness. Dry skin types may find it drying.
- If you massage for too long, you may feel a tightening sensation. You need to find the right time and amount for your skin.
- The subtle fragrance may be divisive. I have trouble with strong fragrances (especially floral ones), so this product was good for me.

- Even just using the cleansing foam, you get a deep cleansing feeling in the pores. If you think of it as thoroughly washing away everything, you'll be satisfied with this product.
- It's not a double cleanse, but if you gently massage your face while cleansing with this, blackheads and whiteheads are easily removed. This is the first time I've used a cleansing foam like this.
- If your skin isn't dry on the surface, it won't get too dry, but you'll feel like your skin is 'empty' inside. It's like your pores have been opened and cared for with a steamer. After cleansing with this, your skin will absorb products better.
- It pairs well with other La Mer products. Using this to thoroughly cleanse and 'empty' your skin allows other La Mer products to be absorbed better.

I can double cleanse with this cleansing foam and another mild, slightly acidic cleanser without any issues!

The tight finish after cleansing makes my skin feel a bit dry, so I immediately apply a moisturizing serum.
