  Pros

  It absorbs well and I love that it's fragrance-free. I use it as the final cream step. It's not heavy even in summer, which is great. It's a non-irritating retinol.

  Cons

  If you're already a retinol user, you might not notice any dramatic improvements. I use it mainly for maintenance.

  Tip

  In summer, it's best to reduce your skincare steps. I apply this right after my first serum.

  No blemishes. The texture absorbs well and isn't too thick.

  Unfortunately, there wasn't anything particularly impressive about it. I mixed it with an emulsion, but the results were just average.

  The way it absorbs is decent. It seems like it could be a really great product if used correctly, but I personally feel some irritation.

  Cons

  First off, having to store it in the refrigerator is a bit of a hassle. Also, the irritation was quite intense for me, causing redness for a while! So it's not really a product I'm eager to reach for.

  I apply this product only in the evening, between my toner and moisturizer. First off, it has excellent absorbs, making it easy to apply. It absorbs well into the skin quickly, without needing much patting. However, since it contains retinol, it's crucial to follow up with ample hydration using other products. Although you only need a small amount each time, the quantity is generous, so it should last quite a while. I have super sensitive skin, and when I applied it close to my eyes, I experienced some itching and redness the next day. I'd recommend being cautious around the eye area. This product works well for combination dehydrated skin and oily skin types.

  For those with extremely sensitive skin, this product might be challenging to use due to its potentially irritating nature.

  Tip

  After using a toner pack, I apply the retinol and then layer another toner pack on top to boost hydration! Finishing with a moisturizer seems to help calm the skin, making the potentially irritating retinol gentler on the complexion.

  This product absorbs exceptionally well with no sticky feeling, and its absorption rate isn't bad at all. The retinol content is substantial enough that with consistent use, you can see results without irritation. I recommend this as an entry-level retinol product.

  Cons

  Since it's not a high-concentration formula, it may not provide as significant whitening and pore improvement effects as higher-concentration products. Update 25.6.8 I can definitely feel the improvement effects, and my skin feels noticeably smoother. This is the best retinol product I've tried, and I intend to repurchase.

  As retinol can dry out the skin, it's crucial to apply a moisturizing cream after using this product.
