Hmm... The merit lies in its soothing ingredients like houttuynia cordata, squalane, green tea, and other antioxidant protective components. Plus, it even has collagen extract. The synergy increases depending on the serum or cream you apply afterwards! One advantage is that this essence at least doesn't cause skin irritation. While it leaves some oil on the surface, it doesn't seem to provide any hydration deep down... It's the first step in my routine, but I've never experienced such a lack of moisture before. Despite the houttuynia cordata content, I can't really feel much of a soothing effect. It doesn't irritate my skin, but I can't say I notice any benefits either. I thought it would be worth the money, but... Still, I keep reaching for it because of its rich color. For combination dehydrated skin, this works well with a hyaluronic acid serum and squalane cream. Rather than just moisturizing, I needed inner hydration and squalane. I wonder if I'm not finding the right technique to make these high-quality ingredients shine... I've reordered my usual holy grail product, so I'll try to find a good method. I think it might be better to apply this essence after using something like a toner pad to provide initial hydration. The key is to layer hydration and bounce after applying the essence. Next time, I'll test whether it's better to apply it before or after a high-concentration vitamin B, C, E + ferulic acid ampoule. I'll try it out and leave a review.
