  Pros

  I have combination dehydrated skin with some dryness and sensitivity around my cheeks and mouth area! While I haven't tried many primers, I found this one to be more hydrating than my usual product, which I really liked! Since you don't need to apply a lot of primer at once, its lightweight texture makes it easy to spread evenly. The pump bottle design also makes it simple to control the amount. This is my first time using a tinted primer, but it doesn't seem to make much difference when applied. I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation after using it!

  Cons

  I tend to have flaking around my mouth and nose, but this primer didn't seem to control it as well as I had hoped. It's slightly better than not using anything, but not significantly so. Also, the fragrance... Since I've become sensitive to strong scents after getting sick, oh my... The initial scent was so intense it almost gave me a headache. It does become more subtle over time, but I found the initial strong fragrance quite challenging to deal with.

  Tip

  I use about a pea-sized amount, rubbing it between my fingers before applying it all over my face. Then I add a bit more to areas that need extra attention. When applying additional product, I recommend rubbing it between your fingers first before smoothing it on. Otherwise, it might not absorb well in some areas and could lead to pilling!

  Pros

  First off, the texture is so smooth, it absorbs beautifully. The narrow opening is actually a plus, dispensing just the right amount. It's perfect for targeting the nose and surrounding areas. There's absolutely no pilling whatsoever! I wish sunscreens came in this texture too. It doesn't interfere with makeup, so you can apply it quickly and confidently, then put on makeup right away. It doesn't cause any separation and works hard to keep those pores in check. It's just amazing!

  Cons

  The scent is stronger than expected, so those who don't like perfume-like fragrances might find it a bit off-putting.

  Tip

  After getting used to it, the fragrance isn't so bad. It seems to be the kind of scent you can adapt to over time.
