This cushion foundation was way better than I expected! It's really great! However, the disappointing part is that it transfers quite a bit, which is a real shame. - kt*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 23, 2024
As a guy who wears makeup to cover acne scars, this product fills them in seamlessly without feeling cakey. Nothing particularly bad to mention. I have acne-prone skin, but I don't feel like this product makes my blemishes worse. - pa******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedSep 5, 2024
It covers well and has great staying power. The longevity is impressive. After prolonged use, it causes itching and sensitivity. I've developed blemishes. - pe*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 30, 2024
It's moisturizing and spreads easily. As someone who sweats a lot, I find it works well if I just gently dab away the sweat with a tissue. If you don't wipe away sweat promptly, a white residue can accumulate on your chin, forming spots. - oi****Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 9, 2024
Boyfriend's skin type: Combination dehydrated. Thin skin with some redness. Oily skin with visible pores on the nose and invisible pores in the T-zone. No major blemishes, but dry on the surface with oil coming through easily. Usage habit: Applied once in the morning, then wears a mask at work until late night. (No touch-ups) Switched from Bi** (see previous review) as it easily rubbed off inside the mask and became oily in summer. Very satisfied with this new product. Compared to Bi**, this product has slightly lower saturation (those sensitive to grayness should be cautious). When applied, it's a bit lighter than other brands' #2 shade, but 'covers the whole face without gray cast, with better coverage for pigmentation, pores, and fine lines, while fitting very thinly' - which aligns perfectly with what I'm looking for. >As a makeup novice myself, I can confidently recommend this product to anyone with combination dehydrated skin who prioritizes covering skin texture. The product quality is that good.< Even if a beginner applies it a bit heavily, it never looks thick. It fills in over 80% of redness and pores without a primer. It has excellent adhesion like glue, but doesn't sit on top of the skin. Instead, it settles into fine lines, providing superior texture correction. It becomes powdery instantly upon application, 'thin enough not to look cakey, and thanks to its quick-fixing power (a typical drawback of matte cushions), it doesn't apply patchily even over dry areas.' Even my boyfriend, a makeup novice, was impressed by the noticeable difference. No negatives, highly recommended. My boyfriend says he doesn't feel any deep dryness and feels moisturized, while the surface is baby-soft with no trace of makeup. Recommended for those with thin skin. You can achieve a more flawless base makeup by choosing the right formula thickness for your skin. No transfer when applied after complete absorption of a light toner, a powdery emulsion, or a moisturizing sunscreen used alone. - d7********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 8, 2024
It's amazing at concealing blemishes and has incredible staying power. The matte finish makes my skin look smooth and flawless. I haven't used it frequently, but I can't really think of any downsides. - us*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsOct 1, 2023
The design is appealing, and the color is natural-looking, even for an average guy. When I wear it all day, I always end up with at least one blemish... Right after application, sensitive areas feel slightly itchy. - gh****Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2023
This seems to be the most natural-looking and long-lasting cushion foundation for men! I don't really have any complaints about it, but the price can be a bit steep, so I buy in bulk when it's on sale. - jt********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 10, 2023
It's great for concealing acne scars and has impressive staying power. If you don't apply a moisturizer before using this, you can visibly see it cracking after some time. It works well when used with a primer, and remember to apply it thinly to prevent it from separating later. - br******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 24, 2023
I've used Super Shield for 2-3 years, and compared to that, this product has a yellow base while Super Shield has a pink base. This makes it great for people with redness issues. As a guy, it's been hard to find yellow-based cosmetics, so this is perfect for someone like me with a ruddy complexion. It's quite runny, so you really need to apply sparingly. If you put on as much as Super Shield, you'll end up looking like a greaseball. It's also a tiny bit darker than Super Shield #2 and has a slight darkening effect, but I like that it doesn't break down messily. They say it's not greasy, but I find it oilier than Super Shield. Luckily, I have Gatsby oil blotting papers to manage that. The real issue is transfer - it comes off incredibly easily with the slightest touch. Oddly enough, it has good staying power if nothing touches your face. I prefer this to Super Shield if I can avoid contact. Haven't been to the pool yet, so I'm not sure about its water resistance. Apply in very, very small amounts and always carry oil blotting papers with you.
