Pros

I tried it as a gift. If I had bought it with my own money, I probably wouldn't have purchased it after checking the ingredients list. The date indication that emphasizes using it within 2 months after opening is a nice touch, as the 20ml volume is small enough to use up in that timeframe. I've heard that vitamin C products can sometimes sting, and the one I was using before wasn't too irritating. But when I carefully dispensed half a dropper and sprayed it on my face, it quickly flowed all the way down to my lips at the same rate as water (since it's lightweight without the oil). I was startled by how stinging it felt! Even though I had a good skincare routine and applied it, my lips were bare before the lip balm. After that initial stinging sensation passed, there's a slight stickiness and glow left behind. It's a bit odd that they focused on the fragrance for a functional vitamin C product, but the formula does seem well-thought-out based on the ingredients. However, the fragrance isn't great either. I'll use it diligently for a full week and then provide an updated review. My eyes feel a bit tired, similar to when using a sunscreen. As time passes, I'm experiencing some intermittent itchiness in different areas.

Cons

Stinging + eye irritation + slight itchiness, Disappointing ingredients... did they really need to include that? I'm applying aloe vera gel to soothe my skin after using this product. Mixing the ampoule and gel makes it extremely sticky. It's probably best not to apply the aloe vera gel right after the ampoule, and to leave some time in between. Those with a strong skin barrier may be fine, but it might be best for others to avoid this.
