I used to always apply toner with a cotton pad, but this toner's texture isn't as fluid as water-like toners. So after cleansing, I simply pat it on refreshingly with my hands. The application is smooth, and compared to regular water-like toners, it leaves a bit more hydration on the skin. It has a faint milky scent base and is a white, opaque, unscented toner. Because the toner has a slightly viscous texture, it helps control inner dryness better than other watery toners. Even when I use it alone in the evening, my combination dehydrated skin doesn't feel dry or tight. I've been too busy with moving lately to take good care of my skin, but I'm going to try using up a whole bottle consistently. During the day, after patting on the toner, I get a bit of oiliness in my T-zone, so I apply cream only to my cheeks. In the evening, I simply follow the toner with a mist. I'm quite satisfied with this routine! In the morning when I'm doing my makeup, I use only a small amount! When I apply too much toner, my T-zone gets a bit oily. If you have oily skin, you might experience some excess oil. - xa*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 13, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The sky blue color is so pretty too. Texture: It's not a watery consistency like some toners. The milky white formula has a medium viscosity - not too runny, not too thick. Scent: There's a sweet aroma with a hint of freshness. Absorption: Despite its slightly thicker consistency, it absorbs well into the skin. I prefer applying toner with a cotton pad, and when I gently wipe it across my face, it feels refreshing and deeply hydrating! Even though I'm not a fan of sticky products, this doesn't feel tacky at all considering its texture. While I got to try this as part of The Hwahae Testers program, it does seem a bit pricey... - 10****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 13, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Texture As someone with oily yet dehydrated skin prone to deep dryness, I was pleased that this product resolved my skin's thirst. It absorbs well without feeling sticky, leaving a fresh finish. 2. Scent While it might be a matter of personal preference, I appreciated its fragrance-free formula. 3. Packaging I really liked the design of the packaging! 1. Initially, I was happy that it addressed my skin's deep dryness. However, as time passed, I felt like my skin was getting oilier. It might be more suitable for fall and winter rather than summer. - tr*******Combination SkinRecommendedSep 13, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The quantity is truly generous. Despite its emulsion-like consistency rather than a watery toner, I used it liberally every day and barely made a dent in the bottle. 2. Fragrance-free and gentle ingredients. I absolutely dislike scented products in my daily skincare routine. Thankfully, this one doesn't compromise its excellent ingredients by adding unnecessary fragrances. It's also alcohol-free, so I've been applying any excess to my neck and hands without worry. 3. Fulfills the role of a toner perfectly. I was skeptical about how it would differ from a thin emulsion, but it absorbs beautifully! I'd recommend this to those with dry skin, and I'll likely repurchase it for facial hydration, especially during the winter months when my skin needs extra moisture. There weren't any downsides! If I had to nitpick, I'd say it doesn't have a pleasant scent. But it's not unpleasant either, so it doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I prefer it this way. I believe fragrances belong in perfumes or scented products, not in skincare. This product would be particularly effective for hydration during transitional seasons and winter. Also, the short and chubby packaging and color scheme are absolutely adorable! - lo*********Combination SkinRecommendedSep 13, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

As someone who finds multi-step routines tedious, I appreciated being able to apply it all at once. ✔️Fragrance It's unscented, making it suitable for those with fragrance sensitivities. ✔️Absorption Initially, it seemed to sit on the surface, but over time it absorbed well, leaving my skin feeling hydrated. ✔️Skin Improvement The first week was unremarkable, but with consistent use, I noticed my makeup applied much better! Considering this was the only change in my skincare routine, it seems to have made a real difference. After application, I did notice a slight oiliness, but that's likely due to my combination dehydrated skin. - nc********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 12, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Very mild scent, almost fragrance-free. • Despite being labeled as a toner, it feels more like a toner-emulsion hybrid. The hydration is truly remarkable. I apply it lightly once in the morning and twice in the evening. You could probably skip the emulsion step. • I have sensitive skin due to atopic dermatitis, but this product is gentle and non-irritating. It didn't cause any blemishes either. I've tried various toners, and often highly hydrating ones would cause breakouts. However, while using this product, my skin actually became more moisturized and improved. • As someone who doesn't enjoy applying multiple products, I really appreciated being able to skip the emulsion step. The product itself is so hydrating that I could bypass the emulsion stage. • The product is almost fragrance-free, which should be comfortable for those sensitive to scents. • The consistency might be too thin for those who prefer exfoliating toners. I personally like exfoliating toners, so I first wiped my face with a toning pad before using this product. While I was able to skip the emulsion, I ended up adding an extra toner step... so it evened out. • I recommend applying it with your hands! When applying in the evening, layering it two or three times helps address deep dryness to some extent. • For those who don't like using many skincare products, this toner and a cream might be sufficient. If you typically use various products, this toner along with a serum and cream should be enough. When I'm in a hurry, I only use this product and a cream. - db********Oily SkinRecommendedSep 12, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I felt there was no need to use multiple products. Even though I tend to get a lot of milia when products are too heavy, I didn't experience that much with this. The texture isn't quite like a watery toner, but it's not as viscous as an emulsion either. I could apply cushion foundation right after this without any pilling. I used a semi-matte cushion, so I'm not sure how it would work with more hydrating types. I think this suits dry skin better than oily skin. The toner itself is on the heavier side, so I think it's closer to a thin emulsion than a typical toner. Because of this, I believe it's not suitable for those who dislike heavy textures or have oily skin. It's better for dry skin than oily, and even those with dry skin might find it challenging to use in the peak of summer due to its richness. I used this single product as my toner, emulsion, and cream all in one. When I felt I needed more hydration, I would apply it twice. I found this method more effective at combating deep dryness than layering multiple different products. - co**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 12, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

At first, I thought my skin felt a bit dry after some time, but after using it repeatedly, I can confidently say one product is indeed enough. However, I might need to add a cream in winter. Skin Barrier Improvement My skin is super sensitive, so new products or even familiar ones can feel irritating when I'm not feeling well. But this product felt gentle and comfortable. Texture It has a thin, milky emulsion-like consistency. It absorbs well into the skin and doesn't feel sticky. I'm extremely satisfied and plan to purchase the entire line for consistent use. I didn't find any particular downsides when using this product. - sh**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 12, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.- Scent: The fragrance is close to unscented, but not entirely. There's a subtle, slightly sweet note that's hard to describe. I found it very pleasant, especially as someone sensitive to scents. - Texture: It's closer to an emulsion than a typical toner - somewhere between a serum and a toner. I usually use an exfoliating toner in the evening, but with this product, I used it as an emulsion substitute after my regular exfoliating toner. Normally, I need to apply a thick layer of moisturizer at night to avoid dryness. However, this product was so hydrating and created such a nice moisture barrier that I only needed to layer it twice and then apply eye cream before bed. The next morning, my skin wasn't greasy at all - it felt great. - Ingredients: The ingredients are gentle and skin-friendly. My T-zone is sensitive and prone to clogged pores and small bumps, but I had no issues with this product. - Hydration: As mentioned earlier, it's incredibly hydrating for a toner. I used it as an emulsion at night, and in the morning before makeup. During seasons when layering too many products can cause skin to break down, this worked well as a pre-makeup base without any pilling. - The product packaging is adorably chubby, but the bottle is quite short. This might be inconvenient for people with small hands. - It's not quite an emulsion, but doesn't feel like a typical toner either... it's hard to categorize. This made it tricky to incorporate into my routine - using it as a toner felt insufficient, but following up with an emulsion seemed excessive. It's great for minimizing your skincare routine though. I unintentionally ended up simplifying my routine because of this product. - The price isn't particularly budget-friendly. However, given its hydrating power and the fact that you don't need to use much, I'm not sure if the price is truly a drawback. But since it could be seen as a con, I'm mentioning it here. - ia*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedSep 12, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

First off, I have combination dehydrated skin that became very sensitive last year after a major skin reaction. Because of this, I always thoroughly check the ingredients and reviews before using any skincare product. My skin tends to break out quickly if a product doesn't suit me, especially with blemishes on my forehead and redness on my cheeks. When I checked this toner's ingredients, I was a bit concerned about some pore-clogging components, but they were low on the list, so I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, as soon as I opened the bottle, I was charmed by its cute appearance! When I poured some on my hand, it felt so refreshing that I was sure it wouldn't be oily at all. So, I started using it without hesitation. Application: This toner has a slightly viscous texture, so I prefer applying it with my hands rather than using a cotton pad. It's gentle and absorbs quickly without any stickiness, pilling, or greasiness. Absorption: When applied with hands and gently patted, it absorbs completely in about 30 seconds. I usually follow up with a serum right after, so I didn't experience any dryness. Texture: Although it's not a watery type, its viscosity is balanced with high moisture content, making it suitable for year-round use without feeling heavy. Even in warmer weather, it doesn't feel stuffy at all. For those wanting a cooling effect in summer, you could refrigerate it before use. The texture would also work well as a mask if you soak a cotton pad with it. In conclusion, I'll definitely repurchase this with my own money when I run out! I'm not a fan of watery toners that I need to apply immediately after cleansing before moisture evaporates. This one, however, applies smoothly like milk, absorbs well, doesn't cause blemishes, is fragrance-free, and suits my skin perfectly. I didn't find any downsides to this product. Well... I haven't checked the price, but if it's on the expensive side, that might be considered a drawback? I prefer applying it with my hands rather than using cotton pads. On days when my skin feels dry or after a harsh cleansing, layering it two or three times works really well. It would also be great to use as a quick mask on the eye area or forehead by soaking a thin cotton pad with the toner.
