  Pros

  The texture is between an emulsion and an essence. It's thin enough to slosh when shaken. This makes it easy to apply with your hands without any stickiness, spreading smoothly and absorbing well. Despite its lightweight texture, the hydrating effect lasts long. Recommended for oily skin in winter and combination dehydrated skin! The color is a mix of peach and beige, which blends seamlessly with your complexion without looking ashy or dull. It brightens your skin tone by about half a shade. It applies silky smooth, initially with a semi-matte finish, but over time develops a dewy glow. The glow is just enough to make your skin look healthy without being overwhelming, making it suitable even for oily skin. There's a noticeable difference before and after application. When you apply foundation over it, you can achieve that coveted 'egg-shell' skin. It pairs especially well with matte foundations, improving both adherence and longevity. As it wears off, it mixes with your skin's natural oils, transforming into a beautiful dewy finish. Even with subpar products, this base ensures a graceful fade rather than patchy breakdown. It seems to have oil control properties too, as it reduces excess sebum production for oily skin types. Being a lightweight base, it allows for a fresh, translucent skin finish rather than a heavy coverage look.

  Cons

  It doesn't have primer-like properties, so it's not effective for filling in skin texture or pores. Due to its thin consistency, the product gets used up quickly. You'll find yourself replacing this more frequently than your foundation. The glass bottle is excessively heavy for the amount of product it contains.

  Tip

  This works great with matte foundations. The combination allows for a 'matte but moisturized' makeup look. The matte foundation maintains longevity, while this base ensures a beautiful fade as the day progresses. With this duo, you can enjoy various skin finishes throughout the day without needing touch-ups.
