It feels like applying water at first, but then it becomes powdery. It's matte without feeling thick, and applies thinly and evenly. The puff is soft and doesn't absorb too much product, releasing it well onto the skin.
ConsIt's best to manage your sebum well before applying. When I put it on, I noticed sebum coming up around my nose area. Other areas are fine though.
TipUsing a spatula to apply it works really well

When first applied, it feels moisturizing and later settles to a soft, matte finish! The best part? No need for powder! The staying power is surprisingly good. I'm using it as a substitute for my combination dehydrated skin winter cushion, and even when facing harsh winter winds, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells much.
ConsThe coverage is moderate. It conceals minor blemishes and scars, but for larger or redder areas, you'll need a concealer.

The base adheres incredibly well and has a powdery finish, so it really doesn't transfer onto my mask. I got shade 22 since that's my usual, and it's slightly brighter than expected, giving a radiant look. I could've gone with 23, but I'm still satisfied. It's great for applying to the center of the face and inner corners. Layering it thinly with a spatula allows you to build coverage - the spatula is a game-changer! The pebble-shaped packaging is super cute too. Love that it's vegan. If you want a brighter look, go for 22; for a more natural finish, I'd recommend 23. Comparing it to my Etude House Sand shade, the brightness is similar, but Sand has a yellow base that looks more natural on me. Wake Make 22 Neutral seems to have a slight pink base, which gives that brighter, more radiant effect.
ConsIt doesn't blend well with a puff once it sets. After a while, oils come through and it can transfer. You'll need concealer for red blemishes. Personally, I find that overlayering can make it look cakey. I apply lots of contour to blend it with my neck tone.
TipCouldn't resist the Olive Young special set - full-size product + 2 refills + 2 puffs!

It's initially dewy but sets to a soft matte finish. The incredibly soft and smooth puff makes it easy to achieve coverage with gentle tapping, allowing the cushion to adhere lightly to the skin! It feels so lightweight that the base makeup doesn't appear heavy, making my skin feel incredibly comfortable. It adheres seamlessly without any clumping or heaviness. Thanks to the vegan water essence in the cushion, there's no flaking or dryness even after the product has fully settled onto the skin. It's truly a 'matte but moisturized' cushion that I find myself reaching for often! Another aspect I loved was the color! There's no grayish undertone, and it blends well with my skin tone while enhancing my natural complexion, which I absolutely adore. The Neutral shade I used is a bit more subdued, but it maintains a bright skin tone without any dullness after application. The 22 Neutral color has a yellow base, which is great for covering redness and other imperfections. The coverage is also excellent, effectively concealing skin blemishes, so I highly recommend this cushion.
ConsWhile there weren't any significant drawbacks, it's not entirely transfer-proof, so some product may rub off on your mask.
