 I bought it for use as a makeup base and I'm satisfied, but I'm a little unsure if other BB creams could also work this well...
My skin is #22 and has redness, large pores, blemishes, and acne scars.
#1 is the exact same color as my skin and has a slightly gray tone.
The coverage is practically non-existent, so the blemishes are barely covered and the pores aren't really covered either.
The application is a bit thick and the formula isn't super thin.
When applied, the skin looks dewy and has a subtle glow, but it also feels quite moisturized and transfers a lot.
The reason I gave it 5 stars is that it really controls the redness well and works great as a makeup base - the longevity and skin expression are truly excellent.
As a dewy-skinned person who dislikes matte finishes, I had trouble with Futurelift and Designerlift as they didn't cover the redness and got too shiny and oily in the afternoon, so I was really struggling. But after seeing a review saying to use this BB cream instead of a makeup base and then apply foundation on top, I tried it and the BB cream handled the redness while the foundation evened out the dullness, and together they had amazing longevity. Even when the oil came through, the pores seemed to disappear and my skin maintained a beautiful color and glow all day.
The only downside is that it transfers more than just using foundation alone, but surprisingly, it doesn't rub off that easily, even if I intentionally scratch at it with my nails.
Also, my skin feels a bit more moisturized and slightly tacky when I touch my face (after setting with a spray).
In the end, this BB cream has really saved my expensive foundations, and I'm extremely satisfied, but I'm not sure if other BB creams would perform the same way, so I plan to try out some other options in the future.
