Phyts... This is truly amazing! While other lines don't suit me well, the barrier care cream (pink one) and this moisturizer are a perfect combo. There's definitely an improvement in my skin - previously, when I had acne, I'd get severe inflammation that couldn't be extracted. Now, my skin has improved to where extraction is possible. I used to blindly trust aesthetic products until things got worse. I thought that was just how it was supposed to be. Then I learned about balancing oil and moisture with skincare. To find the right hydrating and moisturizing products, I've done so many tests. For me, if something doesn't work, I get redness and tiny bumps around my nose and cheeks. So when something doesn't suit me, I give it to my husband even if it's a waste. It was challenging, but I finally found what works for me! For reference: Dear Organic Cleansing Emulsion > Dear Organic Cleansing Gel (incredibly good, can't use anything else) No water-based toner ❌ Rovectin Aqua Activating Serum > Dive-In Moisture Serum > Sidmool Panthenol Moisture Ampoule > Phyts Barrier Cream > Phyts Moisturizer. This is my current routine! I adjust the hydration and moisturizing steps based on my skin condition. I don't think applying excessive amounts is beneficial. I use about a drop for each area of my face, and a pea-sized amount of cream is perfect and absorbs well. For sensitive, damaged skin, too much product can't be absorbed properly and might even make things worse as the skin rejects it. I learned this the hard way... I used too much thinking more was better, but oops! This is my winter routine, and I'm already wondering how I'll change it for summer. I'm so happy to have finally found products that work for me! Phyts is always a bit pricey. Please have more frequent sales! Apply small amounts in light, patting motions.
