I use it as an exfoliating toner, and it seems to have reduced my skin's oiliness. It also appears to help suppress blemishes. As it clears away dead skin cells, I noticed my complexion looks more even. I actually found it more pleasant to use than toners like LAHA.
ConsThe alcohol scent is very strong, making my eyes and nose sting. However, it's clearly effective, so I endure it and use it as an exfoliating toner. It feels like it's thoroughly cleansing away all the excess oil. (That's how strong the alcohol smell is!)

It's the second step in Clinique's 3-step system, famously known as the 'soju skin' for its ability to remove dead skin cells when applied gently with a cotton pad. It helps makeup adhere well and aids in the absorption of the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Emulsion that follows. It seems to help control blemishes too. While there are similar but cheaper products flooding the market these days, when Clinique first launched, it was truly sensational. I still love it. By purchasing the larger size, you can enjoy this department store brand product at drugstore prices.
ConsThose who dislike alcohol should avoid using this. The alcohol scent is quite strong.

I had some mild chin blemishes and severe blackheads on my nose. I've seen improvement - my nose has become smooth and clear. As someone with oily skin, I find this to be an excellent toner for removing dead skin cells.
ConsThe alcohol smell is quite strong. It stings my eyes and nose. The bottle has a wide opening, so you need to be careful with the amount you dispense.
TipIf you apply it with a strong fan blowing, it doesn't sting your eyes or nose. It leaves your skin feeling refreshed.
