Cleansing twice doesn't seem like it would be good for your skin, but since Uriage cleansing water is known for being so gentle, I don't worry about it irritating my skin. That's what I love about it! The price is definitely the biggest drawback. But since it's a product I use so frequently, buying a larger size seems reasonably priced. And since it's something that directly touches your skin, I think it's worth investing a bit more in it. My goal is to minimize skin irritation as much as possible, but with cleansing water, you inevitably have to use cotton pads, so some irritation is unavoidable. I received a sample of this somewhere and gave it a try. I haven't used many cleansing waters before, but among the ones I've tried, this was the best. It was surprisingly gentle on my skin while being incredibly effective at removing makeup. The scent was a bit unpleasant, and since it was a sample, the opening was a bit inconvenient to use.
