I have fine hair but a lot of it, and it's semi-wavy, so it tends to tangle and look frizzy. This product doesn't dramatically soften or add shine right away, but there's a noticeable difference between using it and not using it, so I always apply it. Pumping it twice and applying it to the ends of my hair makes brushing much easier and leaves my hair feeling softer. It doesn't complement the shampoo scent or work well with perfume. It's not a safe, neutral scent at all - it's more of a 'huh?' kind of smell, which is the biggest disappointment... I'd recommend choosing a different fragrance option... After washing your hair, start by drying your scalp area with warm air, then switch to cool air. When your hair is still slightly damp and clumping together in strands, apply one pump of the product. Once your hair is completely dry, apply another pump and brush it through for best results.
