The essence is incredibly abundant, almost dripping when you take out the sheet. It's perfect for generously applying all over. There's a slight cooling effect when first applied, and true to its houttuynia cordata concept, it doesn't leave a sticky finish. Just gently pat with your hands and it absorbs completely. If you're looking for a much lighter texture compared to other cica masks, I'd recommend this one. While there's a lot of essence, its low viscosity means that when you try to unfold the sheet to apply it, all the absorbed essence falls off. Although it's a houttuynia cordata mask, I'm not sure about its effectiveness for redness or soothing. It seems like something I'd buy again when I want to add a lot of hydration. The sheet material is just a basic mask sheet. With so many masks these days offering various benefits through their sheets, this one feels like the standard old-school mask sheet - usable but unremarkable.
