As someone with oily skin, I love that this has a subtle white cast and keeps my oil production in check from morning till evening. The scent is pleasant too. I haven't found anything to complain about while using this product. It's pretty good overall. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 14, 2022
Here's my review after using it for about 1-2 weeks: Absorption: While I don't usually use sunscreen, comparing it to how emulsions apply, I felt this absorbs well. Scent: It's familiar, but I can't pinpoint it exactly. Among the few sunscreens I've tried, the fragrance isn't overpowering and doesn't cause any aversion. Eye irritation: I didn't experience any, but I'm not sure about others. Blemishes: I have sensitive skin that breaks out easily with incompatible products, but I didn't develop any acne during the two weeks of use. Longevity: The scent isn't strong, so it doesn't linger. As for the brightening effect, it's intense at first but fades back to your natural complexion quickly, so no need to worry. The sun protection seems to last quite well. Since I've only used it for about two weeks, I don't have many complaints. If I had to mention something, it seems to run out quite quickly, so a slightly larger volume would be nice. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 9, 2022
1. Absorbs lightly I loved how it applies smoothly without clumping or excess powder falling off. 2. No eye irritation I once had to throw away a different sunscreen after using it a few times because it severely irritated my eyes. This one, however, caused absolutely no irritation for me. 3. Scent I appreciated that it had no artificial fragrance and lacked that typical sunscreen smell. The only downside for me personally was the small amount of product. I didn't feel any deep dryness even without applying thick layers of skincare products underneath. It seems sufficient to use this product over a moderate base routine. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 9, 2022
Summary: The fragrance was lovely, it applied smoothly, caused no eye irritation, and had a slight white cast which I liked. Used for a week from December 2nd to 9th. When I first received it, the green container was impressively beautiful. It gave off a fresh, vibrant feeling - perhaps because it's from Jeju? The scent has a subtle floral note that's not overpowering, but gently rises. As someone who doesn't like strong fragrances, I really enjoyed this. It applies exceptionally well. I used to think mineral sunscreens were a bit thick, but this one spreads so easily. It's great for applying a thin layer too. There's absolutely no eye irritation, so it's perfect for applying around the eyes and on the eyelids. Honestly, I think most sunscreens are useless around the eyes if they cause stinging, but this one is very satisfactory. It has a slight white cast, which I actually like. It's not excessively white, just enough to give a slight brightening effect that makes the skin look fair and pretty. Lastly, as someone with sensitive, atopy-prone skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. This was the most appealing aspect for me. I usually feel dryness about an hour after applying almost all sunscreens. Maybe it's because of my dehydrated skin, I'm not sure. Even the gentle Dokdo Birch sunscreen, which felt moisturizing at first, ended up feeling dry later. So, I did feel a bit of dryness with this one too. However, it wasn't severely drying, and if I applied a rich layer of moisturizer multiple times, it felt much better with almost no dryness. I almost feel bad calling this a downside! Due to the slight white cast, I apply thin layers multiple times. This gives a brightening effect that makes my face look fair and pretty. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 9, 2022
1. Ingredients This is my first vegan sunscreen, and I'm impressed by its vegan formula and cruelty-free status. The product performance is excellent, and the ingredients are great, so I'm very satisfied! 2. Scent Floral scent? I usually don't like the typical sunscreen smell, but I enjoy this fragrance. 3. Application It applies smoothly with a nice hydrating feel, but it does feel a bit tight after application. It might be better suited for those with oily skin rather than dry skin. There's some initial white cast, but it fades over time (considering it's a mineral sunscreen, the white cast is minimal). I appreciate that it doesn't sting my eyes. 1. Price It's quite expensive for the amount you get. Other than that, I can't really find any significant drawbacks. It's a solid product overall. As you probably know, remember to apply an adequate amount of sunscreen frequently throughout the day! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 9, 2022
- The most important factor when choosing a sunscreen - no stickiness - was absent here! - The scent wasn't overpowering, just a subtle fragrance that I found pleasant. - While applying, you might think 'Oh, it looks white...?' but once it's fully absorbed, it looks fine. - From my perspective, there weren't any drawbacks to this sunscreen. - My skin is currently quite dry and even applying basic skincare can cause tingling, so I was worried. Surprisingly, there was no irritation! This might vary from person to person, so I'm mentioning it here. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinDec 9, 2022
Being vegan, even the packaging is perfect. When the delivery arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the outer packaging was paper, not plastic! I opened it with excitement. The absorbs is better than expected! It applies well, and the finish is powdery, which is great for touch-ups as it doesn't get too rich. Those who dislike scented products might not be fans, but I love the floral fragrance, so I'm satisfied. I think I'll use it more in summer than in winter. If there's a downside, there's a bit of white cast that's unavoidable. I don't mind it, but if you're concerned, you might want to test it first. Personally, I didn't find any major drawbacks. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 9, 2022
1. Absorbs well Usually, mineral sunscreens don't have great absorption, but this product applies smoothly, which I loved. It's not overly hydrating, but has a nice texture that made it comfortable to use. 2. Subtle floral scent I appreciated that it doesn't have that typical chemical smell of mineral sunscreens. The scent isn't overpowering either, which was perfect for me as a pregnant woman - just a pleasant floral fragrance that I found satisfying. 3. Minimal white cast Mineral sunscreens inevitably leave some white cast due to their physical blocking nature, but this one wasn't excessive. It provided a slight brightening effect that I enjoyed. As a pregnant woman, I rarely wear makeup, so it was nice that the sunscreen alone gave me a bit of complexion enhancement. 4. Vegan ingredients Being pregnant, I can't help but be conscious about ingredients. The fact that this product is vegan gave me extra peace of mind. I didn't experience any blemishes while using it, which was great. Despite being a hydrating product, I noticed my skin feeling a bit dry after some time, which is typical of mineral sunscreens. This made me think it might be more suitable for summer use rather than winter. When using this in winter, it's best to apply a rich moisturizer as your final skincare step before the sunscreen. I found that when I let a hydrating cream absorb fully before applying the sunscreen, my skin didn't feel dry even in the afternoon. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 9, 2022
Since I always apply sunscreen when going out, I've tried products from various brands. (I'm not particularly sensitive to new cosmetics.) The first thing I look for when choosing a sunscreen is the white cast, and this product does have some whiteness when applied and immediately after. However, it quickly becomes natural-looking if you spread it well, so it was fine. The absorption seems good. It applies smoothly without pilling or clumping, and there's no stickiness or greasiness after application. The scent is a subtle floral fragrance. Given the product name, it must be lotus, right? It's not a polarizing scent, so I think most people can use it comfortably. The long, thin tube shape is fine for application, but the amount seems a bit small. Also, while the product description claims it's moisturizing, I'm not so sure about that. It might be partly because I have dry skin, but you'll probably need to apply plenty of base skincare products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 9, 2022
Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't leave a white cast. There might be a slight appearance when applying, but it's practically invisible. As a watery sunscreen, it's not thick and spreads easily with a moisturizing feel! The hydration is better compared to other mineral sunscreens, making it great for this weather. The scent is fresh and not overpowering, which I liked. I often get blemishes from sunscreens, but this one caused no irritation or breakouts, probably due to its gentle ingredients. It's drier than I expected! Maybe because my skin is very dry, but I felt my skin getting tighter as time passed. I wish it was a bit more hydrating...
