It doesn't feel dry at all and beautifully brightens the complexion. It's highly water-resistant and doesn't dissolve easily. Despite being a waterproof sunscreen, it's easy to cleanse off! This sunscreen is perfect for both a bare-faced look and as a makeup base. It finishes matte but moisturized, leaving your skin hydrated without any greasiness - absolutely top-notch! And did I mention it's waterproof? That's love, isn't it? When using this tone-up sunscreen as a makeup base, it doesn't cause any patchiness. The Diomer sunscreen applies smoothly, making it even better as a makeup base. Some regular makeup bases can be a bit stiff, which inevitably leads to foundation or cushion makeup looking cakey. But with this sunscreen, there's zero patchiness! In fact, it enhances the adherence of cushion and liquid foundations! It also beautifully covers blemishes and pores!
ConsOn problematic skin areas (acne scars, spots where pimples were squeezed), there might be a bit of pilling, so you need to be careful when applying. Pat it on gently without rubbing!
TipHow should you apply it? First, controlling the amount is crucial! Even a small squeeze dispenses quite a bit, so just use a tiny amount. When applying, be careful around areas with scars or where pimples have formed. Instead of rubbing, gently pat it on those areas.

Even with just this sunscreen, you get both tone evening and coverage, making it perfect for a foundation-free look. I love that it's not too drying despite its excellent complexion-enhancing properties.
ConsWhile the coverage is good, it can be a bit thick when applying, so you need to spread it carefully. It might feel a bit heavy during the peak of summer.

Among products with brightening effects, this tone-up sunscreen doesn't dry out and works best when mixed with foundation.
ConsAs expected with a brightening product, it seems to contain some powder particles, which can emphasize dead skin cells if you apply it on dry, unexfoliated skin. Also, due to its moisturizing nature, it can leave marks from hair strands. If you dislike these aspects, you might want to avoid it.
TipFor those with a lot of peach fuzz who struggle with foundation application, mixing this with your foundation adds a bit more weight, helping to smooth down the fuzz. I have very thin skin with lots of peach fuzz and some visible pores, but I use this well as a makeup base with a spatula or mixed with foundation!
