I absolutely love how the level of transparency and color expression varies slightly between 2 coats, 3 coats, and 4 coats. The more thickly you apply it, the more it can be styled like a jelly-type nail polish, so I often layer it on generously. I wish it came in a wider range of colors. The applicator brush is narrow and thin, which means you need to apply multiple coats. Unfortunately, it leaves brush marks, which diminishes the otherwise high quality of the product. This is quite disappointing. The product comes with a thin brush applicator, but the application isn't as smooth as I'd like, which is a bit of a letdown.
