I've been pairing it with an aloe soothing gel, and the combination works perfectly - my skin doesn't feel dry at all. It's just right.

As someone with dry skin, I find it a bit drying if I only apply it once. But since toners are meant to be layered two or three times anyway, it's not a big issue.
