The applicator tends to pick up a bit too much product, so I had to wipe off some before application, which caused the opening to get messy quickly.

The neutral color is suitable for warm-toned skin, but applying brick-toned shades can make the face appear yellowish for warm-toned individuals. However, the longevity was satisfactory and I enjoyed using it.

🌿Color & Pigmentation
- The color base is a pink tone with a slight warm undertone, allowing for a healthy, flushed application.

🌿MLBB (My Lips But Better)
- As a soft-type person, I enjoy collecting MLBB shades and this is one of my favorites. When applied lightly, it can also work well for those who prefer a more subtle, natural lip look.

🌿Matte Finish
- With the recent popularity of hydrating lip products, this matte formula may be a great option for those who prefer a more long-lasting, velvety finish. It does have a slightly drying texture, however.

- While not as affordable as some previous Peripera or Rom&nd products I've reviewed, the price point is still quite reasonable.

There's nothing disappointing about it - I'm satisfied enough to want to stock up on different shades.

I always use the Black Rouge Tint, and it has the least amount of flaky skin and expresses the color beautifully!!

The color is similar to the Mamonde Creamy Tint Color Balm in 26 Autumn Rose, so if that shade works for you, this Salmon Layer should work well too.

The shades I purchased weren't extremely deep or bold, so the pigmentation wasn't very strong, and there wasn't much uneven staining.

The transfer is minimal, so the longevity is decent when drinking beverages, but since the formula is moisturizing, it wipes off easily when eating food or blotting with a tissue.
Apart from the low transfer and moisturizing nature, it's pretty much the same as other velvet tints.
The color range is really pretty for the fall/winter season, though.

The name is Salmon Layer, but I think the name is a bit off... 
There's hardly any salmon-like color visible.
Rather than salmon, it's more like a fall/winter version of the peach lip color that was so popular in spring and summer.
It's a muted, toned-down color with a hint of pink and peach, a rose color that's suitable for daily wear, calm and muted.
It seems to lean more towards the warm tone, but not too warm, so it can also suit cooler tones where a calm color is appropriate.
If you're struggling to choose a color from the Double Layer Velvet Line, I'd recommend going for this Salmon Layer.

The formula was really interesting.
It's between a velvety and a dewy glow - not fully velvety, but not a full-on dewy glow either.
It applies moisturizing and cushiony, but over time an oil film comes up.
That film is not thick and heavy, but thin and lightweight.
There's no stickiness, and it doesn't feel heavy or dense even after blotting.
The finish is a subtle sheen, not an overpowering dewy glow, like other moisturizing velvet tints.

The transfer is minimal, with some transfer only on the inner lips. The longevity is decent.

True to its moisturizing velvet tint nature, there's no dryness or shrinking.
It's also on the lighter side, so there's no heaviness or stuffiness.

The scent is caramel popcorn, not too strong but present, so keep that in mind.
