The pad surface is small compared to the container size, making me wonder why the container is so big, and the packaging is inconvenient. Also, while the pads have a moderately stiff texture, they feel a bit irritating, so you need to be careful when exfoliating, which can be a bit of a hassle. The thickness of the pads is great, but I really wish they were less irritating. I've been satisfied with most Kiehl's products and had high expectations, but compared to other products, this one is a bit less appealing.

I've heard it's better to use this exfoliating toner every 2-3 days rather than daily to avoid skin irritation. When I used it every day, my skin felt a bit sensitized.

I bought these square-shaped toner pads after seeing them on YouTube! The moment these plump pads touch your skin, they feel so soft! The square shape adheres to the entire cheek area better than round pads, which I loved. Containing skin-soothing ingredients like dill extract and tea tree, after using this exfoliating toner, my skin texture becomes incredibly smooth. Before applying makeup, I leave them on my forehead, cheeks, and chin for about 15 minutes like a mask. It penetrates deep into the skin, not only calming it but also helping to reduce blemishes. It works hard for your skin!

The product comes in pad form, but I was a bit disappointed with its usability. Often, two or more pads would stick together, which was somewhat inconvenient.

As someone who doesn't usually put much effort into skincare, I found this product great. I just apply it after showering, and it leaves my skin feeling wonderfully hydrated.

The rectangular shape of the pads was disappointing due to their small size. While they stretch a bit when pulled, the edges become uneven, causing them to lift when applied to the face. I usually apply pads or masks first thing after washing my face while I dry my hair, so I thought these exfoliating toner pads would work fine for that purpose. However, the pads are quite thick, which reduces their adherence. When used as a leave-on treatment, they easily fell off with just the airflow from the hair dryer. Also, while the pads are rectangular, the case is round, wasting a lot of space. The case seems too large compared to the pad size. Without a middle seal, the top pads seemed to dry out faster than with other products.

The exfoliating toner pads and facto pads are separated, which I liked. The exfoliating toner pads have a refreshing feel with just the right amount of hydration. They finish cleanly without any residue, making them great for light use. Although they're called exfoliating toner pads, I felt bad just wiping and tossing them, so I also used them as a spot mask. I was pleasantly surprised by the long-lasting cooling effect. The pad material is soft, so it seemed to cause minimal irritation when wiping.

The price is a bit steep. There are many other products out there that offer better value for money.

It's wonderfully hydrating and perfect to use after cleansing. Plus, it's so convenient!

I used up a whole container comfortably during summer, but it seems the entire Kinepin line might be summer-specific... I don't reach for it as much now that the season has changed.
The essence is as thin as water, so it really stings if it gets in your eyes...

✗ While it felt refreshing during summer when I had excess sebum and oil, its volatile exfoliating toner feel doesn't suit the current weather (causes dryness...)

✗ Be careful not to get the essence in your eyes. It stings terribly!

Above all, I loved how easy and convenient it was to use since it doesn't have an exfoliating function. My other skincare products already contain exfoliating ingredients, and many pad products on the market have exfoliating properties. So this one really stands out. The square shape of the pads also made it super convenient for masking.

Applying an ampoule before using these as a toner pack helps the hydration last even longer.

As they're designed as exfoliating toner pads, they're a bit thick for use as a toner pack.

The rectangular pads are quite large, allowing for a toner pack application on the entire cheek. They're generously soaked in essence, keeping the skin hydrated. Being made of pure cotton, these pads didn't cause any irritation when used with an exfoliating toner. The ingredients are decent, so I didn't experience any blemishes. Plus, I bought the individually wrapped version, which is perfect for traveling.

First off, the pads are thick, and I can't understand why they made them square-shaped. The case is also unnecessarily large. It doesn't exceptionally soothe the skin, and I've heard some people's skin even reacted badly to this Kiehl's exfoliating toner.

There's not really any standout advantage... If you happen to like rectangular-shaped pads, you might find these okay to use.
