You need to control the amount well to avoid clumping. While it doesn't have the same hold as a hairspray and inevitably loses some hold in windy conditions, it's still satisfactory overall. Considering I chose this product to avoid the strong ingredients and fragrances found in hairsprays and other hair products, I'd recommend it as a product worth using consistently.

When applied like a hair emulsion, it creates natural-looking curls. It's great for taming flyaways too. Above all, its unscented formula is a major plus.
