* Scent I loved that it had a subtle herbal and floral fragrance, rather than an artificial or overpowering scent. * Texture I appreciated that it's a powder type, allowing me to adjust the amount as desired. It's great that a spoon is included. The fine particles dissolve well in water. * Hydration It didn't leave a slippery feeling after bathing, which I liked. While it might be sufficient in summer, you may need additional moisturizer during transitional seasons like fall and winter. * Pigments I tend to avoid bath bombs with intense pigments, so I was pleased that this one doesn't contain any colorants. * Lather I enjoyed how easily it lathered, but those looking for a rich, creamy foam might find it slightly disappointing. Overall, I didn't have any major issues with the product. If you're sensitive to fragrances, I'd recommend starting with less than the suggested amount on the instructions. Try smelling it first and gradually adjust to find your perfect balance. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 4, 2022
- Lather: It produces a wonderfully rich and creamy foam! The bubbles have a really luxurious texture. - Scent: While I'm not entirely familiar with the traditional Jaungo scent, this one is pleasant and subtle, perfect for unwinding after a long day. - Quantity: I was pleasantly surprised by how generous the size is! It'll definitely last a while. As someone who loves taking baths, I often struggled with dryness in autumn and winter. However, with this product, I didn't experience that immediate tight, dry feeling even after patting myself dry. I'm not exaggerating when I say there weren't any real downsides! The only thing to note is that since it's a powder formula, it's probably best to store it outside the bathroom. The foam builds up quite quickly on the side where the water flows, so it's a good idea to check midway and redistribute some of the lather to areas with less foam for an even application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 4, 2022
❤ Great value for money -- Large size I used to feel guilty about using bath bombs, trying to make them last. But with these bubble bath fizzies, the generous amount lets me indulge without worry. It's truly a cost-effective product. ❤ Fragrance -- Personal favorite While the scent might be polarizing, I absolutely loved it! It's subtle and not overpowering, which I found delightful. ❤ Convenience -- Comes with a dedicated scoop The included scoop makes it easy to measure the right amount, which is super convenient! It makes me want to try other products from this brand. 💔 Bubbles Initially, the bubbles weren't as abundant as I'd hoped and seemed to disappear quickly. However, I discovered that using the shower head creates about twice as many bubbles. They still dissipate, but they last for about 40 minutes! Pro tip: Don't add it to still, warm water. Instead, run the shower while adding the product for quicker, more luxurious bubbles! 💔 Hydration It doesn't leave your skin incredibly moisturized, just average in terms of hydration. 💔 Color I was hoping for a subtle pink hue, but maybe that's asking too much? It would be nice if it added some color to the water though! Perfect for a mood boost! Just remember to create the bubbles using the shower head! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 30, 2022
• The fine particles are great. I chose the jaungo scent because I don't like lavender, but this still has a hint of lavender? However, the fragrance isn't overpowering, so it's fine! I think it would be especially good for those with super sensitive skin! • Unlike solid bath products from other brands that were inconvenient to break apart, this powder form is easy to portion out!! It's perfect for foot baths too. • The included measuring spoon shows great attention to detail in product design! • Being a large-size product, it should last a long time. It would be wonderful if they offered bath products with floral or woody scents!!! Even better if they had some unique, niche fragrances that aren't commonly found. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 30, 2022
Scent: - I've only used intense nighttime formulas before, but this one isn't overpowering. It has a subtle, sophisticated fragrance that's refreshingly pleasant. If you typically dislike strong scents, this might be a good choice for you. Color: - It has a barely-there milky tint, almost clear with just a hint of opacity. While opinions may vary, I appreciate that it lacks artificial coloring. This makes it easier to clean and more convenient to use. Hydration: - It offers a moderate level of moisture. Some bath balms can feel excessively slippery, but this one strikes a nice balance. However, if deep hydration is your priority, you might find it slightly lacking. I didn't mind too much since I apply a separate moisturizer after bathing anyway. Bubbles: The lather is, well... it dissipates rather quickly. Even with vigorous agitation under the shower, the bubbles don't last long, which is a bit disappointing. I wish the foam was a bit more substantial and long-lasting. The bubbles that do form seem a bit forced and disappear quickly, lacking that rich, creamy texture. As someone who often uses dedicated bubble bath products, I found this aspect a bit underwhelming. I discovered that mixing in a small amount of a mild bubble bath product works wonders! It enhances the lovely fragrance while also creating a more satisfying lather. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSep 30, 2022
- Amount: It's incredible... The value for money is top-notch! - Scent: Personally, I think it would be great if they came out with an unscented version. I usually prefer subtle, natural fragrances and only use a tiny bit of perfume, so this artificial scent might be hit or miss for some. - Lather: I saw some reviews saying it doesn't lather well, but here's a pro tip - I got great foam by dissolving the powder in a little water and then using the showerhead to mix it up! - Skin: My skin isn't particularly sensitive, so it worked well for me! Overall verdict: An excellent budget-friendly bath powder that's perfect for melting away stress and fatigue. Love the thoughtful touch of including a spoon! I'll definitely be repurchasing! I'd love to see an unscented version! Be careful with the large container - I accidentally spilled some of the precious powder when my hand slipped while scooping it out. Use the showerhead to thoroughly dissolve the powder - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 30, 2022
Volume: Love the large size. Great value for the price. Scent: Pleasantly mild upon opening. I prefer subtle fragrances as they're more relaxing than overpowering ones. Lather: Used two scoops for a bath. The shower created endless bubbles! While not super dense, the thick foam layer lasted well. Even after draining, plenty of bubbles remained. Moisturizing: My skin felt incredibly smooth and silky throughout the bath. No major downsides. However, the skin doesn't feel as hydrated after rinsing as I'd like. Two scoops are sufficient for a full bath. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 29, 2022
My body skin type is dry! Spring/Fall/Winter - Very dry, body emulsion is a must Summer - Normal, I either use nothing or just a light mist The scent: I was really curious about the scent of Centella asiatica since it wasn't clearly described. It has a subtle, soothing lavender and citrus fragrance! I loved that the scent wasn't overpowering, and I think most people would enjoy it. In my opinion, it might not be too different from other scents - they all seem pretty similar. The color: The powder itself is white, and the water color doesn't change at all. This was my favorite part! I usually avoid bath products with dyes or glitter unless they're gifts, so I really appreciated that this product doesn't contain any coloring. The bubbles: While it might not be super thick, the bubbles are incredibly fine and soft! They're fluffy and delicate, so they don't disappear quickly. The foam lasted until the end of my bath! The feel: When I've used bubble baths from other brands, they often left my skin feeling squeaky clean, so I didn't expect much in terms of hydration. However, this product was surprisingly moisturizing. More precisely, my skin felt soft after bathing. I was quite satisfied with how it felt. Of course, it wasn't extremely hydrating or moisturizing (with a rich feel), so you'll still need to use a body emulsion for hydration and moisture afterward! Nevertheless, compared to my usual routine, I didn't feel dry immediately after showering. Instead, the dryness set in a bit later, so it does have some moisturizing effect! It also felt gentle on my skin. Overall impression: Personally, I really loved this product. I hadn't found a suitable bath product before, but this one has no dyes, no glitter, creates great bubbles, feels gentle on the skin, comes in a large quantity, and has a subtle scent for a relaxing experience! I'll probably repurchase it when I run out. Knowing that it's safe for children to use makes me even more confident about buying it again. None... There really wasn't anything I disliked about it. I was satisfied with everything overall. Add the powder first, then spray water over it to create bubbles! Once the tub starts filling, aim the water at an angle rather than straight down on the surface for the best foam production. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 29, 2022
The powder form made it easy to control the amount. The product label includes a recommended quantity, and the included spoon made it simple to measure out just the right amount. The scent isn't overpowering or unpleasant. It's like a floral fragrance with a hint of sweetness. Unlike other brands that filled the bathroom with strong scents that hurt my nose and gave me a headache, this one was subtle and enjoyable. When I've used other bath powders, my skin felt dry and cracked afterwards. But with this product, I intentionally skipped my body emulsion and didn't feel any dryness at all. My skin felt soft and smooth. Above all, the value for money is outstanding! I can't believe the quality of ingredients and the quantity you get for this price. It's amazing. I'd love to try all the different varieties. Since it's a powder type, I recommend opening the lid in the bathroom. I wish there were more varieties available. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 29, 2022
☆ Review from The Hwahae Testers (Usage period: 9/23~9/29) * A moisturizing and fragrant bath product * 1. Fragrance As soon as I opened the lid, I loved the lavender scent. It was even better when the bathroom was filled with the aroma. I really enjoyed that it wasn't an artificial strong scent, but a subtle and natural herbal lavender fragrance. 2. Rich in bubbles When I added the bubble bath fizz while filling the tub, it created lots of bubbles which made me feel great. 3. Non-irritating and truly moisturizing It's definitely more hydrating than other bath products. It's certainly more moisturizing than other bath bombs that claim to be hydrating. Usually when I exfoliate during a bath, my skin gets dry, but with this bubble bath fizz, the dryness was noticeably less. Even after exfoliating, it wasn't irritating and left my skin soothed and moisturized, which I loved. 4. Storage-friendly container I liked that the container was just the right size to store in the bathroom cabinet. It wasn't inconveniently wide, which was great. 5. Measuring spoon Powdered bath products can be tricky to measure, but I personally really appreciated the included spoon. 1. Potentially too moisturizing People who prefer a clean feeling without slipperiness might not like the finish. It leaves a slight oily feeling that makes the skin soft, so I wouldn't recommend it to those who prefer a squeaky-clean finish. 2. Bubbles don't last While there are plenty of bubbles at first, they gradually disappear over time. This is characteristic of bubble bath products, but it seems to fade a bit faster than other products, which is slightly disappointing. For bubble lovers, instead of just adding 2-3 spoons when the tub is less than half full, add half a spoon more and use the shower head to create bubbles for better results.
