Absorption First off, the absorption is neither heavy nor light - it's just right. It absorbs quickly into the skin, and it's great for layering! 2. Balanced oil content Some products can be too dry, leading to quick dehydration, but this one seems to have a perfect balance of hydration and oil. You could say it has a well-balanced oil and moisture ratio. 3. Suitable for acne-prone skin This seems like a safe choice for those with acne-prone skin. I've been using it consistently since I received it, and I haven't experienced any new breakouts! 4. Love the pump dispenser The pump dispenser is not only very hygienic but also allows for easy dispensing of just the right amount. Personally, I prefer unscented products when it comes to emulsions. The fragrance in this one might be a bit divisive. Those sensitive to scents might want to consider this aspect. When I looked up the price, I found it to be somewhat expensive. It's been extra dry lately, making things worse. This product absorbs quickly and has a thin consistency. When applied sparingly like an emulsion, it left my skin slightly dry. As it's not quite an emulsion, I mainly used it as a sleeping pack. I love its light texture that doesn't feel heavy even when applied generously, and its fresh feel. It absorbs fast without leaving residue on my pillow, which is great. Some rich products can cause pimples, but this one didn't. The scent is a bit off. They say they added cypress water, but it smells more like herbal medicine for some reason. Also, the packaging feels a bit clunky. These aspects could use some improvement.

Skin type: Combination (T-zone and forehead get oily in the afternoon), currently dealing with persistent acne on cheeks for over a month, oily. My thoughts after using: 1. Scent: It has a hinoki cypress fragrance which might be hit or miss, but I absolutely love it! If you enjoy aromatherapy oil scents, you'll probably like this too. 2. Texture: It applies smoothly, feeling hydrating on the skin and absorbs quickly! 3. What I loved: I've been struggling with stubborn acne for over a month, even after trying to extract it. It was really stressing me out, but since using this product, I've noticed the acne gradually fading! Texture - It's not a sticky formula. As someone with oily skin (even if you don't!), I really dislike products that feel sticky on my face, but this one finishes so refreshingly! It's neither extremely drying nor sticky, which I absolutely love! 2. Scent - I noticed many reviews disliking the scent, but personally, I enjoyed it! However, if you're not a fan of strong fragrances, you might not appreciate it. 3. Hydration - As someone with oily skin, I was very satisfied with the hydration level! For those with dry skin, if you prep your skin well with your base skincare, this should provide a nice, moisturizing finish without any issues. 4. Absorption - The absorption is really good! I love how it absorbs quickly without pilling, no matter what I apply before or after. I usually pump it 3 times to cover my face and neck. While it feels lightweight, the finish is surprisingly satisfying - leaving my skin feeling firm and creamy. The biggest drawback is the incredibly strong scent. As this is my first time using a cypress water emulsion, I'm not sure how it compares to other products, but the fragrance is really intense. It's so strong that it startles me every time I apply it. Those sensitive to fragrances might find it difficult to use. While this product provides enough hydration on its own for those with oily skin, if you have deep dryness and very dry skin like me, you'll definitely need to layer it with a nourishing or hydrating cream. At night, I apply this first, then reapply a layer all over my face again a couple of hours later before bed. This routine helps prevent my skin from feeling tight in the morning.
