It's not worth it. You're better off spending a bit more on something else.

While it feels matte when first applied, over time the oil starts to come through... Not recommended for those with oily skin, unfortunately.

It absorbs gently into the skin, and the texture has just the right consistency so it doesn't run. It leaves the skin feeling soft and matte.

There's not really anything I'm disappointed with.
If I discover any drawbacks, I'll add them later.

Dermafactory's mineral sunscreen doesn't feel like typical mineral sunscreen at all.
It's surprisingly similar to hydrating or chemical sunscreens in how it applies.
There's a slight white cast, but that's totally fine.
I'm amazed that there's no dryness after application.
Out of the four sun protection products I've used from The Pack, this one is my absolute favorite.

As it's a squeeze-tube product, it becomes challenging to dispense when you're nearing the end of it.

Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it applies smoothly and keeps skin hydrated. It gives a beautiful glow and pairs well with cushion foundations. Skin doesn't feel dry even after hours of wear.

I've found that mixing mineral and chemical sunscreens helps reduce the tightness. I apply the mineral one first, then layer the chemical one on top. For better sun protection, try reapplying after a short interval.

The downside is that it seems to cause deep dryness, making my skin feel tight by afternoon. Even my son in his 20s with healthy skin said it felt tight after one application. While physical protection is the advantage of mineral sunscreens, dryness seems to be the trade-off.

My skin has become super sensitive, so I've been using mostly mineral sunscreens. This one is affordable for its size and great for seasonal use. There's no white cast, and it doesn't irritate my eyes.

1. The formula is quite thin, so you may need to reapply frequently for sufficient protection. In summer, I apply it three times a day. However, it doesn't leave a noticeable white cast even with multiple applications.

2. Although it's marketed as easy-wash and the official website promotes it as such, being a mineral sunscreen, it still requires a cleanser with strong cleansing effectiveness to remove completely. If you use a mild cleanser or don't cleanse thoroughly, some white residue may remain. Still, it's relatively easy to remove compared to other mineral sunscreens.

3. The easy-wash feature means it's also vulnerable to tears and sweat. Especially if applied around the eyes, it can dissolve in tears, pool in the eyes, and blur vision. If this concerns you, avoid applying it around the eye area.

Due to its high moisture content, it can make the skin look a bit shiny. Also, it doesn't have any brightening effects. That's why I apply the same company's Niacinamide+Calamine brightening moisturizer before this sunscreen.

Because it's water-soluble, if applied around the eyes, by evening the sunscreen can dissolve in tears and enter the eyes, blurring vision. I've often found white residue dissolved at the outer corner of my eye membrane. It doesn't cause pain, though. So now I avoid applying sunscreen where my eyelashes touch. I was wondering why my vision would get hazy in the evenings, and it turned out to be the sunscreen. Still, I'm very satisfied with this sunscreen as long as I avoid the eye area.

It has minimal white cast and excellent hydration and absorption. I was looking for an easy-wash product, and this one rinses off quite well. As someone with sensitive skin, I needed a mineral sunscreen that could be removed with just cleansing foam, and I think I've found my holy grail. On my skin tone, there's hardly any white cast, and it actually makes my complexion look clearer, which I really love.

At first, it feels hydrating, but as time passes, perhaps due to the limitations of mineral sunscreens, it definitely becomes tight and dry on the skin. It might be more noticeable for me because I apply Stivaa as well.

The absorption is surprisingly good, the ingredients are excellent, and it's affordable. When you buy it on sale, it's such a great deal... I wonder if this brand even wants to make money! There's minimal white cast too. I've wholeheartedly recommended it to those with super sensitive skin, and they're all using it with satisfaction.

The affordable price makes it easy to apply generously without worry.

While there's nothing particularly disappointing, even though mask mandates are lifting, the moisturizing effect might cause transfer when wearing a mask.

As gentle as its name suggests, yet wonderfully hydrating. Great value for money and non-irritating.

If you're not a fan of dewy-finish sunscreens, this product might not be for you.

This mineral sunscreen is perfect for soothing dry skin. It's as moisturizing as organic sunscreens, leaving your skin with a beautiful glow after application. You can even apply a dry cushion foundation over it without any issues. As someone with extremely sensitive skin when it comes to sunscreens, I find this one incredibly gentle. It's currently my favorite sunscreen.

Personally, I prefer a semi-matte finish that's moderately powdery, but this one left my skin looking quite dewy and a bit too shiny for my taste. I wouldn't feel confident going out wearing just this alone. Without any complexion-evening properties, it made my skin look dull yet greasy. I actually prefer the Dermafactory brightening moisturizer sunscreen. This one might be better suited as a base before applying makeup! If I had to compare, I think the Espoir Water Splash Sunscreen is a better choice for a hydrating sunscreen that can double as a beautiful base.

It applies like an amazing emulsion, spreading so smoothly. There's absolutely no stickiness or tightness, just pure hydration. As someone whose skin often reacts to sunscreens with itchiness and discomfort, I found this one to be very comfortable. Highly recommended for those with super sensitive skin! If you're looking for a moisturizing sunscreen that absorbs well without any brightening effect, I'd definitely suggest giving this a try!
