The scent of the hinoki wood is absolutely wonderful. It feels like I'm in a hinoki bath or in the middle of a forest - it has such a natural and organic aroma. Those who enjoy this type of fragrance will likely love it.
It also has a nice, subtle oily and moisturizing feel, so it doesn't feel too lightweight.

I have sensitive skin with redness and enlarged pores. I'm particularly vulnerable to oils, heavy textures, strong vitamins, and alcohol. As I've gotten older, my oil production has decreased and my skin has naturally improved. However, when I use sunscreen, I still tend to break out. I've found that the recent Hera blue bottle sunscreen works best for me! Products from Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent tend to irritate my lips.

Even a small amount has a very strong fragrance. I generally like hinoki-based products, but this one is too overpowering - it makes me feel nauseous when I apply it while my stomach is unsettled.
