It absorbs well and sinks in immediately without feeling sticky. I love how quickly it absorbs as I apply it frequently to my chapped hands. I've been using it on my body too. It doesn't feel heavy at all, so it's not burdensome. The scent is almost undetectable, close to fragrance-free. Its lightweight texture makes it great for frequent application. Since I wash my hands dozens of times while cooking a meal, I bought this to prevent my hands from feeling like they're about to crack. Before using this product, I had to apply an ultra-rich hand cream for days to get some relief. But with this one, I just apply it once or twice before cooking or when my hands feel particularly dry, and it soothes them instantly. At first, I used a full pump and it pilled like crazy, but I found that using about a pearl-sized amount, or slightly more, is plenty. I'm tempted to use it on my face too, but the pore-clogging ingredients are listed second and third, so I'm resisting. It doesn't seem to have any added fragrance, which is good because the smell isn't great! The scent is... not great. It's like a melting plastic smell, haha! Be careful not to apply too much or it'll pill! It's perfect if you apply a generous amount before heavy hand use and then once more after.
