This one, in particular, has an amazing feel. I've tried Dr. Different and COSRX retinol, but Athe's texture is truly exceptional. Dr. Different was too heavy for my oily skin - I tried to persevere but ended up tossing it. COSRX contained shea butter, which gives me acne, so I had to discard that too despite its good reviews. I was a real skincare nomad, even considering IOPE, but for me, the most important thing when buying cosmetics is whether I can use it consistently. IOPE was too pricey for regular use, but Athe is perfect in terms of price, texture, and finish. I alternate between this and their Vitamin C serum day and night. Athe truly provides the ideal formulation and feel for oily skin. I desperately hope they don't discontinue or go out of business! While it doesn't dramatically whiten or firm the skin, it does improve skin texture, making it soft and smooth.
ConsThere are no downsides! Please don't discontinue this product! Oh, it would be great if they could make a higher concentration version as the next step up.
TipRecommendedWhen applied before bed, you'll wake up to velvety-soft skin in the morning.

Of course, if you're new to retinol, it's best to start with small amounts and gradually build up tolerance. It makes your skin texture soft and supple. This has become a staple in my routine, and I'm on my umpteenth bottle.
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing about this product while using it. It's a satisfying product overall.
TipRecommendedUse retinol products only in the evening, and when starting out, allow a 1-2 week adjustment period beginning with a tiny amount.

But this product proves those concerns unnecessary - it's gentle and helps create smooth skin without any sensitivity.
ConsRecommendedThe brand's low recognition made me hesitate before choosing it.

I thought there wouldn't be much of a change...haha The pores on the sides of my nose were particularly problematic, but not only did the pore size decrease, the sebum inside the pores also reduced significantly. This was a product that made me feel the cosmetics industry has really advanced.
ConsI usually only apply it before bed, but in the winter it feels a bit drying. Even though I moisturized well with another cream, some flakiness still came up. I'll consider repurchasing it in the summer!
TipRecommendedI slathered it on around my eyes and lips, but there was absolutely no irritation!

I was using a retinol product before, and I've been using it every other day, but recently I've been using it daily. When I used the skin ionizing device together, there was some irritation, but the Athe Retinol Ampoule is less irritating. After using the Athe Retinol Ampoule, I only felt dryness. Benefits of the Athe Retinol Ampoule: It helps refine skin texture and improve elasticity and pore care. A small amount can be used to care for skin elasticity and texture. Even though it's a retinol product, it's less irritating, so I feel reassured. Precautions when using: 1. When first using a retinol product, use an extremely small amount and mix it with a cream or ampoule, then use it every other day on the skin. 2. Use retinol products only at night. 3. Do not use with AHA or BHA skincare products that exfoliate. 4. Use a sufficient amount of moisturizer to reduce skin irritation. I've been using the Doctordifferent Retinol Cream consistently, and I think the Retinol Ampoule will also work well for me.
ConsAfter using the Athe Retinol Ampoule, I felt dryness. So I need to be very careful to apply a sufficient amount of moisturizer. When using the skin ionizing device together, there may be some irritation, so I need to leave a time gap and carefully apply the Athe Ampoule.
TipRecommendedIf you want to manage your skin brightly, apply the Aestura Bulgarian Ampoule first, then apply the Athe Retinol Ampoule on top. This can help with skin tone, wrinkle, and whitening care all at once, while reducing skin irritation. Especially, it's good to apply a moisturizing cream after the Retinol Ampoule.

After using it for about 2 days, I woke up the next day and my skin felt a bit rough, and I developed a couple of small bumps on the T-zone area that don't usually appear. From the 3rd day onwards, my face became smoother and more radiant, and people around me started commenting on how good my skin looked. The retinol product is gentle and has an amazing application. (I guess there was an adjustment period when I first started using it.) It didn't clump, feel stuffy, or leave a sticky residue. I tried using it with the accompanying cream, but it was a bit drying for me, so I added an extra layer of a barrier cream afterwards, and my skin stayed moisturized until the morning. I really enjoyed the application and will continue using this product, and if it continues to work well, I'll switch to this product permanently.
ConsRecommendedThere was an adjustment period when I first started using it. After a few days of use, I no longer experienced any small bumps or roughness on my face.

However, I'm not sure if it's thanks to this product, but I haven't had any blemishes since using the retinol ampoule. Any pimple-like blemishes quickly disappear.
ConsI'm not sure, but it seems like the product doesn't have much effect on my large pores.
TipRecommendedBe sure to apply it at night! Retinol doesn't have sun protection, so it's best to apply it at night. Also, start by using it less frequently, like once a week, then gradually increase to twice or three times a week. It can sting blemished areas, so apply it when your skin has calmed down a bit. The key is to use a very small amount and spread it over a wide area.

Since this is my first time using retinol, even though I applied it every other day as instructed, the irritation was severe, so I took a break for a while. I've been applying it every night for over a month now. As a retinol beginner, at first, I thought I should throw it away because my skin was peeling, stinging, and too irritating. But that was all part of the adaptation process. Now, my face is glowing... I'm usually a cosmetic nomad, trying all sorts of products, but the ones I've been using consistently are this one and Missha Bioren, and I really love them. Currently, when I wash my face, there's no more rough texture or uneven skin, it's so smooth. I used to have problematic skin, but most of it has cleared up, and my skin looks plump and bouncy. I think I would even buy this product with my own money once I finish it. I'm not sure about the pore reduction claims, but the overall improvement in skin tone and bouncy, glowing complexion is really noticeable. However, when I first started using it, it was extremely drying, flaky, and stinging.
ConsI'm not sure about the pore-minimizing effects, but I've been focusing on applying it more on the T-zone area.
TipRecommendedFor retinol beginners, it's absolutely not recommended to apply it directly. You should first apply a toner or seam lightly, and then just a drop or two on the problem areas (I added a few more drops of Bioren since I have dry skin). Then finish with a highly moisturizing cream. I've been doing this for a little over a month, and everyone says my face looks great and is glowing. Now I think I can start applying it directly after the toner or serum.

ConsRecommendedEven though the retinol content is high, I don't really feel the effects.

My skin texture became as soft as a baby's bottom, and my nasolabial folds even appeared a bit less pronounced.
ConsThere wasn't a significant effect on my pores, so I'll keep using it consistently.
TipRecommendedIt's great to apply with a silicone puff~
