It feels lighter than other brands' yellow ceramide creams in terms of application and texture. No matter how much you layer, it's non-irritating and feels comfortable on the skin. While it balances oil and moisture well, it doesn't feel overly hydrating. Personally, I recommend applying your skincare routine up to the step before cream as moistly as possible, then finishing with a generous layer of this yam cream!! (e.g. apply after a sheet mask) This way, the cream seems to lock in moisture while providing necessary oils to the skin. Though it goes on a bit thick, you'll see that your skin has completely absorbed it by the next morning. I've been minimizing my makeup routine, so I can't speak to how it works under base makeup, but I've never experienced pilling when applying mineral or chemical sunscreens over this cream! After the cream has absorbed somewhat, the finish feels plump and bouncy. It has a subtle grain scent.
Cons- You might feel like you're running out quickly if you reapply often. - Right after application, you can definitely feel the richness and it might feel like there's a film sitting on top of your skin. This texture might be difficult for those who dislike this feeling or have oily skin. - For those with acne all over their face, I recommend starting with a patch test using a small amount! Since I have acne on my cheeks and chin, I didn't apply too much at first, even though I ended up layering more later.

The texture is pleasantly thick, almost like a massage cream. The tube packaging is hygienic, which is a plus. As someone with super sensitive skin, I find it quite gentle.
ConsWhile it feels moisturizing at first, it doesn't seem to address deep dryness. It gives the impression of sitting on top of the skin rather than fully absorbing.
TipI've found that layering multiple essences and ampoules underneath helps combat the dryness more effectively.
