There's a hyaluronic acid ampoule base from Nine Wishes that's gained some word-of-mouth popularity, and this product has a very similar texture. Price-wise, there's no real need to switch, but since I got this, I didn't repurchase my usual moisturizing base. I use this as a hydrating base right before applying BB cream or foundation. True to its name, I apply it as the final step in my skincare routine like a wrap, give it a moment to absorb, then apply BB cream or foundation. It significantly reduces deep dryness and really locks in the makeup. It improves the longevity of my makeup too!

It's a bit sticky and absorbs slowly. While you can't really expect much in terms of whitening or anti-wrinkle benefits, the hydrating aspect is so good that it makes up for it.

I impulse-bought this during a 1+1 sale, and it was my first time trying a Charmzone product. Wow... it exceeded my expectations! It has a double lid, and the purple-yellow packaging is subtly pretty. It's moisturizing without irritation, and the formula is transparent but has a rich, bouncy texture. It's fantastic for deep hydration. As someone with dry skin, I use it both in the middle of my skincare routine and right before makeup. However, my friend with oily skin mentioned it made her a bit shiny.

The scent... I'm not sure what it is, but it's a bit off-putting. Looking at the ingredients, it doesn't seem to contain any harmful substances, which is reassuring. Does bakuchiol have a scent? It smells a bit like fragrance, but then again, maybe not... Anyway, it feels a bit strong. Also, without the trial price, I think it would be too expensive.

I haven't been using it for long, but I bought it at a special trial price and I'm loving it! I've been using it alongside my retinol oil, and when I wake up the next morning, my skin feels incredibly smooth - it's such a great feeling! I just added this to my existing routine. So far, I'm really satisfied!
