  Pros

  I had a good experience using another brand's Hwahae cream before, so I purchased it when it was on sale previously. When I applied a small amount, it didn't feel heavy on my skin before my morning makeup routine, and it seemed to give a glowing effect after applying foundation. Compared to the previous product I used, this one has a bit more oil content, so I couldn't apply it generously at night, but a little went a long way and didn't feel as tight. The container is compact and easy to hold, and I was surprised to find that it contains 52ml, despite its simple and uncluttered packaging.

  In some ways, it had a glowy finish, but in other ways, it felt a bit oily and shiny, so I had to apply it in small amounts. When applied before makeup, it made my regular foundation look like a glowy one, but the coverage and longevity were somewhat lacking, which was disappointing. And when I applied a bit more at night, it felt a bit heavy and stuffy. Compared to the product I had been using, this one left a residue and had a heavier feel, so it was a bit of an ambiguous cream for my skin.

  The cream has a stretchy texture similar to snail cream. I thought it might be sticky, but there was no stickiness at all. Instead of retinol, it contains bakuchiol, making it a gentle cream that can be used without irritation. With consistent use, I noticed my skin texture becoming smoother and looking better overall. It absorbs well and has a nice application. The finish feels a bit rich, making it a great cream for dry winter months.

  Though it's been a while since I used this product, from what I remember, when I applied it generously at night and washed my face in the morning, my skin felt incredibly soft! It might feel a bit heavy in summer, so I used it in winter and recall it provided quite good hydration. You can use it morning and night, but for daytime, apply a thin layer to avoid pilling.

  Looking at the ingredients, I was worried it might be too heavy for dry skin, but it wasn't overly rich, perhaps because I used it in winter. Despite its rich texture, it wasn't very sticky! It seems to absorb quite quickly. Since it's not in a tube, you can use every last bit perfectly.

  Pros

  This product might seem a bit pricey, but it's truly amazing. When you feel like you're about to break out, apply a thick layer generously before bed for a few nights, and those blemishes just disappear. It really helps with dry skin and you can feel your skin becoming healthier overall. I'm already on my second bottle, and I'd say it's worth every penny (for a drugstore brand). The Atelier Be products (this one, the serum from the same line, and that squeeze-tube cream with the yellow design - can't remember the name) are fantastic. I highly recommend them!

  Cons

  The price is a bit of a drawback. You end up using quite a bit (because you can feel your skin improving...!), which makes the cost a bit painful. Also, it's slightly rich, so it might feel a bit heavy for daytime use in summer.

  Tip

  If you apply it generously like a hydrating mask, your skin's glow the next day is absolutely incredible.
