The comfort on my skin? Unlike other mineral sunscreens I've tried that feel like painting with white poster paint, this one's different. Sure, there's a white cast, but it's a sophisticated one that blends well with my complexion. Among mineral sunscreens, this one wins for me in terms of skin comfort and natural look. I particularly appreciate the absence of ingredients I personally detest, like siloxanes, methicones, and acrylate copolymers. While not harmful, I'm not a fan of glyceryl caprylate and coco-caprylate, which are often found in organic sunscreens, so I'm glad they're not here. Awesome is a brand that rarely reformulates, but I remember this sunscreen changing. The original ingredient list was different. I think they revamped it significantly one day to prevent allergic reactions, but I recall using both the old and new versions well. This sunscreen would be perfect in every way (for combination-dry skin) if not for its low SPF and the slightly sticky, shiny finish. Maybe applying it right after toner would reduce the shine? I use it after thoroughly applying emulsion and cream, which might contribute to the effect. But using it after just toner might be too drying - that's the dilemma. Anyway, the low SPF doesn't bother me since I usually use a parasol (honestly, I rarely use sunscreen... I only use this product on special occasions. If you stick to shaded areas and use a parasol for physical protection, your facial skin stays fine and bright. A parasol also protects your scalp. I think for sensitive skin, daily sunscreen use can do more harm than good). Still, on days I use this, I wish I could apply powder afterwards. It would be great if Awesome came out with a powder-type sun powder (colorless and fragrance-free). I really love Awesome, but I'm disappointed they don't release new products... Their lineup is almost the same as 10 years ago. They made such great products from the start that there's no need to reformulate the existing ones (I'm actually strongly against reformulation - I use all Awesome products for my skincare routine and they're perfect and satisfying). Separately, the lack of new additional products is something I find disappointing in general. Since the finish is a bit sticky and shiny, it might be good to buy a zinc oxide-based sun powder and lightly dust it on top.
