While Marmardy hand creams aren't known for exceptional hydration overall, this one has a smooth, emulsion-like texture that absorbs well, rather than being thick or heavy. Unlike Hinoki, which I'd recommend even for summer use, Leatherwood feels more suited for cold winter days - it's the kind of scent that should delicately brush your nose in chilly weather.

Honestly, while moisturizing power is important in a hand cream, the scent is my top priority, and this one was perfect for me! If you love woody fragrances, you absolutely MUST get this!
