I don't experience any blemishes, and it seems to tackle deep dryness effectively. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the only downside is the small size of the product.

When I apply the Retinol Shot and mix it with a bakuchiol ampoule, I wake up to noticeably smoother skin the next day. I love that it's gentler than retinol and can even be used in the morning!

I'm not being greedy with it and use it as a mixing product. In the final step of my skincare routine, I mix just one drop of bakuchiol with SNature's Squalane Moisturizing Cream and spread it thinly.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I had a bad experience with retinol from Sidmool before, so I wasn't really interested in functional skincare. But when I hit my 30s, I became more curious and learned that bakuchiol could be used as a retinol alternative. I bought this product and carefully applied it, paying attention to the amount. Surprisingly, my skin adapted well without any blemishes. I can feel the improvement in my skin texture, and I think it's worth using consistently while adjusting the concentration. This would be great for beginners like me who are trying retinol or bakuchiol for the first time. I liked it so much that I repurchased another bottle, rating it 5/6.

At first, make sure to mix it with your essence or cream every 2-3 days. Never use it alone! While it's milder than retinol, it's not completely free of irritation. Overuse can lead to excessive dead skin cells, dryness, and a tingling sensation without you realizing it. After an adjustment period (which took me quite a while, so I mainly used it mixed), I could apply it daily without much irritation. Here's how I used up an entire bottle: 1. During the initial adjustment period, I mixed a drop or two with hyaluronic acid essence and used it every other day. 2. After adjusting, I applied toner generously, then spread two drops of bakuchiol serum over my entire face, followed by cream. This was a mistake - don't apply it all over. Focus on the T-zone and oily areas. It can make dry areas extremely parched. I ended up needing to apply a heavy winter moisturizer to dry areas due to itching. 3. Currently, I apply 3-4 drops of the pure serum only on my forehead, T-zone, oily chin and philtrum, and butterfly zone. Then I layer on plenty of hyaluronic acid essence and a cream rich in ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids. With this method, even in hot summer, my T-zone produces less oil and my makeup stays put longer. If used correctly, this serum can provide effects similar to a low concentration retinol, but with much less irritation. However, retinol is still superior for tightening pores. The downside of retinol is that even a slight mistake in application method or amount can lead to heat sensation, skin peeling, and flaking dead skin cells. For those wary of retinol, bakuchiol is a great alternative.

Due to its high concentration, over time it can slightly solidify and discolor in the bottle. However, this is just a visual issue and doesn't affect its effectiveness. I didn't experience any blemishes either.

Excellent for controlling sebum. Unlike retinol, it doesn't cause much irritation even with daily use. With consistent application, you'll notice a clear difference between when you use it and when you don't.

The volume is small..
(First-time users may experience peeling, but please don't give up and try using it little by little. Of course, if it causes breakouts, it doesn't suit you, but if it's just peeling, I wish you would keep using it.

Trouble, pores, and complexion have definitely improved. Retinol was too irritating and difficult, but this one has less irritation and good effects, so I'm satisfied.

1. Trouble
This can't be considered acne soothing, but when used with soothing ingredients, the effect is clear. It has a drying effect on acne. And there's no oil at all, so there's no burden.

2. Pores
They really shrunk. The pores were clearly less prominent when applying makeup. And the sebum that used to accumulate in the pores is no longer visible.

3. Complexion
The acne is gone, and the pigmentation has faded as well. Plus, there seems to be a whitening effect, perhaps due to the niacinamide. Compared to the effects on trouble and pores, the complexion effect isn't as dramatic, but the complexion is definitely brighter.

The size is small and the price is high. I wish the price was a bit lower

If I apply too much greedily, there is some irritation. Since it contains retinoid ingredients, peeling also becomes severe, and there is a slight burning sensation. It seems I should use it in small amounts, drop by drop.

I heard that retinol is good for clogged pores, but I was afraid of exaggerating the peeling, so I bought Bakuchiol. There is no stickiness at all, it has good spreadability, and it is also well absorbed. After applying, a faint floral scent lingers around the tip of my nose. The scent fades after a while, but it makes me feel good and momentarily happy because of the floral fragrance. I'm gradually increasing the amount I use while hoping for my pores to disappear.

It seemed to exacerbate my skin irritation and flakiness, so I couldn't continue using it. Mixing it with a lotion could be a potential solution.

The feel is watery and not very substantial. If you want to experience the effects of the bakuchiol ingredient, this seems like a good choice.

The volume... I can't even use it for a month. ㅠㅜㅜ That's why I only use a drop at a time. But since I've started using this, I can't stop and keep using it.

1. Great absorption
As soon as I apply it, it absorbs incredibly well. The formula feels very watery.

2. Smoothens the skin
This ampoule is great for refining skin texture, so I always make sure to apply it.

3. Evens out skin tone
It's very effective for improving blemishes, acne scars, and skin recovery. Personally, I feel it works faster than when I used centella.

The fragrance is also not artificial, which suits my preference well. ㅎㅎ

It's more of a nourishing yet refreshing ampoule, rather than a thick one. I'd recommend this to dry skin types, and then follow up with another richer ampoule.
