Despite being called a fixing tint, the staying power wasn't as good as I expected...

It didn't cause any blemishes, and the color was a lovely muted mauve, so I used it quite often!

While it's true that it doesn't transfer, I'm not sure about its longevity... It seems to fade away somehow.

Etude's Fixing Tint feels like a truly well-crafted product! Its thin formula and excellent adherence make it perfect for those with deeper skin tones, whether used as a base lip color or on its own.

Drawbacks: Being a fixing tint, it tends to emphasize wrinkles and dead skin cells. When you have flaky skin, it wears off from the inner part of the lips, leaving circular patches on the dry areas... You need to touch up frequently, which is a bit of a hassle.

Skin tone: Slightly lighter than shade 21. I'm between Summer Mute and Summer Cool, and I mainly use pink-based shades.

Positives: I tried Midnight Mauve, Dusty Beige, and Rose Latte as base lip colors. Rose Latte turned out to be the perfect middle tone, ideal as a base lip color for light undertones and Summer Cool complexions. I'd love to repurchase it, but unfortunately, it's already discontinued... I hope they release a similar shade again!

I love this product that I always use! It stains your lips with the actual color, not just a pink tint. It's matte but doesn't emphasize dead skin cells. Maybe that's because I don't have much lip flakiness to begin with? Anyway, some products tend to highlight dry patches, but this one doesn't. It's perfect as a base, and even after eating, it doesn't leave an unsightly ring around the edges of your lips. It's great!

It's extremely drying and doesn't suit cool skin tones at all. The colors are much more muted than expected.

The Etude Fixing Tint lives up to its name - it really adheres to your lips for excellent staying power!

If I had to point out one drawback, it's the scent that's a bit off-putting. It makes me feel slightly nauseous.

I've been using the Midnight Mauve from the same line, so I decided to try another shade! The color lasts well and doesn't emphasize lip wrinkles, which I really appreciate.

Unfortunately, it comes off easily when I eat anything, even just a quick snack.

It absorbs instantly, leaving my skin feeling soft and fresh! The color is absolutely gorgeous too.

It doesn't seem to set well, and the scent wasn't to my liking.

It absorbs smoothly and has a nude shade, making it lightweight and comfortable to use!

It's disappointing that the overall color range of the Fixing Tint line is too muted and dull.

I bought this believing it was a cool-toned base lip product when it launched, but it actually has quite a warm color payoff... However, it's so comfortable on the lips and has great staying power that I can't let it go. I really wish they'd release brighter, lighter, and more vibrant shades for cool summer tones... The bottom swatch is the Rose Latte shade.

I compared it to the Fixing Tint in Midnight Mauve as they looked similar, but Rose Latte has a slightly pinker tone. Just for your reference!

True to its name, this fixing tint has excellent staying power

Being a lacquer-type tint, it feels drier than velvet tints, so it may not apply as beautifully on lips with many wrinkles or dead skin cells. It's best to exfoliate well before use.

A serene pink rose hue blended with beige, creating a lovely rose-beige shade. While it's called rose-beige, it has a slight vibrancy that makes it more beautiful worn alone rather than as a base.

The main drawback seems to be that it doesn't really help smooth out dead skin cells on the lips.

The color is so pretty, I'm even more satisfied when using it as a blush. You definitely need to exfoliate your lips before applying. It gives a natural lip color, like a muted, milky nude with a strawberry rose tint that's perfect for autumn vibes.
