I tried this after applying sunscreen and using makeup for the day. It effectively removes makeup residue and impurities, leaving skin clean. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight. It's gentle and non-irritating, even for sensitive skin. I didn't experience any eye stinging either. The disappointing part is that you absolutely need to follow up with a second cleanse after using this cleansing oil. I really dislike the slippery feeling left on the skin, which indicates there's still residue. - co******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessFeb 11, 2025
Rich, substantial texture Seems designed for deep cleansing Inoffensive ingredient list Has a noticeable scent (not my preference) Texture is too thick, making it unpleasant to use As a result, it's challenging to emulsify properly - 96****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 27, 2024
I have combination dehydrated skin with oily T-zone and blackheads on my nose and cheeks. When I used cleansing oils from Manyo Factory, Hanskin, and Sidmool, I never felt like they were removing any sebum. But with Klairs, after about 5 minutes of massaging, I can actually see the sebum and blackheads coming out. It's the first product that's shown such noticeable results, so I'm already on my third bottle. Even though I have super sensitive skin, I've never had any blemishes from this product, so there's not much to complain about. It feels a bit rich, so you need to cleanse thoroughly. Using a cleansing sponge while washing makes it feel even more effective at cleansing. - 20******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessAug 13, 2023
I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive and prone to redness. My skin is particularly vulnerable to oils, heavy oil-based products, strong vitamins, and alcohol ingredients. Pores are my biggest concern. My skin tends to have allergic reactions to sunscreens, so I'm always on the lookout for hypoallergenic options. I appreciate that this product doesn't have an overpowering scent. During the emulsification stage, it becomes too stiff, so there's no massage effect. It requires a lot of effort to apply. - ma*******Dry SkinRecommendedMay 25, 2023
As someone who's meticulous about eye makeup, using glitter and long-lasting mascara, I was thrilled that this removed everything in one go! It's also gentle on the eyes, which is a huge plus! While it removes makeup effectively, there's a slight oily residue even after rinsing with water. I'd recommend following up with a second cleanse for best results. - so*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessMar 17, 2023
It glides on smoothly and isn't a thick, heavy oil type. It doesn't seem suitable for dry skin, and I feel like the oil lingers, so a double cleanse is absolutely necessary. - le**************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 29, 2023
I bought this product for its reputation in removing sebum rather than just removing makeup. I could feel it pulling out the excess oil. After about two weeks of use, I suddenly started breaking out. Previously, I rarely had blemishes, and even when I got small wounds, they healed quickly. Now, I'm experiencing recurring acne, and even after the blemishes subside, they leave scars behind. The oily residue was quite intense. Even after following up with foam cleansing two or three times after using the oil, it seems it wasn't completely removed. When using this product, it's crucial to cleanse thoroughly to ensure no oil remains on the skin.
