As an adult, applying body emulsion became too bothersome, so even when my skin was dry, I just went about my day. I noticed my skin getting rougher. Using fragrant body washes seemed to cause blemishes on my back, and the dryness made me reach for body emulsions again. I became a body wash nomad, trying many products. After buying so many that didn't work and abandoning them, I became afraid to try new ones and stuck with whatever I had, even if it wasn't ideal. Then I discovered this product through The Hwahae Testers. I hoped it would work well so I could finally settle on one! I waited eagerly, hoping to be selected. After returning from a long overseas trip, I found the delivery waiting for me. I was so touched! I immediately opened the package and took a shower. First impression: it's incredibly moisturizing and gentle. The scent is herbal-like, and it gives a feeling of skin becoming healthier. After being tired of fragranced body washes, showering with this felt healing! Aveeno products are well-known for a reason... If there are no major issues, I'll likely reorder this product!
ConsWithout using a loofah, the amount of lather might be a bit disappointing. I personally love rich foam... But with this level of ingredients and hydration, I'm willing to give up on foam right away!

I've been using Aveeno's body emulsion for a while, and I finally got the chance to try their body wash too. I have extremely dry skin. This product has a low pH formula, which means it's neither too drying nor too oily - just right for everyday use. The lather is more creamy and rich rather than bubbly. Personally, I prefer this texture as it leaves my skin feeling more hydrated after showering. However, if you're looking for a foamy lather, you might find this a bit different. As for the scent, it's nearly fragrance-free. To be honest, I don't really care about how long a body wash scent lasts... I'm more concerned about the fragrance of my body lotion! The almost scentless nature of this wash means it's likely to please everyone.
ConsWhile I didn't have any major issues, as I mentioned earlier, those who prefer a rich lather from a small amount of product or those who prioritize fragrance might find this slightly disappointing.

The Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash has a subtle oatmeal scent that I found soothing. While its mildly acidic formula doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling, it leaves my skin feeling moisturized, which seems to protect my dry body skin. It's working well for me during this dry season. Given its volume and reasonable price, I think it's great for daily use by the whole family.
ConsWhile it didn't bother me too much, the lather isn't particularly rich. It might lack that refreshing finish for use during the summer months.

However, Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash feels like it leaves a thin protective layer after showering - that must be the 'moisture barrier' it creates! Because of this, I don't feel rushed to apply body emulsion after showering. Texture: It's thick enough not to drip off the shower puff. Scent: Personally, I don't like strong fragrances. Since I use body emulsion, skincare products, and occasionally perfume, I prefer scents that don't clash. Aveeno's scent is mild. The fragrance that rises with the lather isn't irritating, and while I dislike unscented products, this is just right. Overall, it gives a gentle, soothing feeling.
ConsAs it's a gentle product for sensitive skin with no irritation, the lather is a bit weak. Even when I work up a lather with the shower puff, it creates small, delicate bubbles on the skin rather than rich, abundant foam. I don't particularly prefer products with lots of foam, but since the lather is weaker than regular body washes, I'm mentioning this as a potential drawback for reference.
TipEven though it's a hassle, I always work up a good lather before washing my body. Rubbing the product directly on the body to create foam isn't good for the skin, just like it's not good for your hair and scalp when shampooing. Everyone probably knows this, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

Some unscented products still have a peculiar smell, but this one doesn't. * The lather isn't extremely dense, but rather the kind that dissolves easily in water. One pump is sufficient for a good shower. * It's hydrating, but doesn't leave you feeling overly slippery when rinsing, which is great. * There's minimal dryness after showering.
Cons* It's disappointing that it contains sulfate-based ingredients. * The lather isn't very rich, so those who prefer a more luxurious foam might find it somewhat lacking.

Unlike other body washes with overpowering floral scents, this one has a subtle lemon fragrance that's almost unscented. It's perfect if you prefer a milder aroma! 2. I have oily skin and some blemishes on my back. After using this, I noticed a significant reduction in my back acne. 3. It's gentle and slightly acidic, making it ideal for those with super sensitive skin. Even a family member with sensitive skin found it suitable. 4. Usually, my legs tend to get dry after showering, but with this body wash, I don't experience any deep dryness or tightness post-shower!
ConsWhile it does lather well, I wish the foam was a bit more luxurious.
TipI love how it leaves my skin feeling less tight and dry after showering!
