  I've been using the UHD pressed powder for a while and was curious about the tone-correcting powder, so I decided to try it out. For reference, I'm shade 21. When applied with a puff, similar to using a translucent powder, it brightens the complexion like a color corrector. The cheeks, nose bridge, and T-zone areas can be applied with a puff without feeling heavy, but for the rest of the face, it's recommended to apply a thin layer with a brush. All three powders can be mixed, but the sky-blue color is the most brightening, so it's great for highlighting areas you want to brighten. The powder dispenses gradually when you twist the bottom, so there's less powder fallout compared to the type that comes out in bursts from the holes.

  Cons

  I'm not a big fan of makeup bases with a pearly finish, and for blushes, I generally avoid those with a pearly effect, except for the Clinique Cheek Pop. Compared to the Cheek Pop, the pearly finish on this powder feels a bit heavy. Since the main goal is tone-up, the pore coverage is not as good as the UHD powder, so I don't reach for it as often.

  I've tested both shade 1 and 2, and 2 has a more intense overall color, so I'd generally recommend going with shade 1.
