  This makeup remover is fantastic at taking off cosmetics! The formula comes in a balm type. The mini toothbrush they include for application is a nice touch too.

  For dry skin, it's a good match, but the finish is slightly ambiguous Honest review of April Skin Cleansing Balm (of course, purchased with my own money) It's so famous that I tried it after finishing my existing balm, and as I heard... it really removes makeup incredibly well! The texture melts smoothly, with a sorbet-like feel~ The color is also super pretty. However, if you have long nails, it might get stuck underneath (typical of balms, haha). I can see why it's popular since it's comfortable to use even around the eyes! The biggest advantage is that it dissolves heavy makeup well (especially lip and base makeup come off easily). The scent is a subtle orange fragrance, and it's gentle on the skin. It's not burdensome for dry skin, no tightness. Can be used comfortably even on sensitive days.

  Drawbacks There's a slight oily residue typical of balms. Makes you want to cleanse again... Those who prefer a squeaky clean finish might not like it (I definitely double cleanse). It might feel a bit heavy in summer (though it was fine for my dry skin).

  First off, this stuff is incredible at removing makeup! I can't speak for mascara since I don't wear it, but it takes off pretty much everything else. After rinsing, my skin feels refreshed and balanced without any deep dryness!! I'm almost out and definitely planning to repurchase.

  As you can see from my reviews, I'm usually satisfied with almost all products I use and I don't have particularly sensitive skin. However, about a week after using this product, I suddenly developed blemishes - I'm not sure if it was folliculitis or acne. I was shocked because I've never had my face covered in so many blemishes before.

  Tip

  The cleansing balm has a very rich texture, so those with oily or combination dehydrated skin might be better off using a cleansing milk instead. I tried it because it was trending online, but it didn't suit my skin type. On the other hand, I think people with dry skin might find it works well for them!
