I recommend prepping your skin well and applying the product with a cushion puff. Applying with hands leaves marks (even hair marks at first). As someone with combination dehydrated to oily skin, in winter it left almost no oily residue, like my own skin. Whether it's because I changed my skincare products or just because the weather improved, it feels a bit more moisturizing now than in winter. It's not bad for coverage.

While sunscreens that also act as tone-up and base products may have some placebo effect in terms of UV protection (it's hard to feel the actual UV-blocking effects), they still serve a purpose. Even though it's said that UV rays are bad for acne and pigmentation, when I apply this diligently, my skin discoloration doesn't seem to worsen. Since the formula is base-like, you need to prep your skin well, but don't overdo it or you'll get pilling. Personally, I always apply it with a cushion puff - applying with hands leaves marks. This product might not suit dry skin types; it's better for combination to oily skin. I have oily to combination dehydrated skin, and the product is quite matte (reminds me of Geo***), so I make sure to moisturize well before applying. The fact that I need to prep my skin well before use and cleanse thoroughly after makes me feel like my skin is improving overall. Overall, would I use it again? I'm not against repurchasing. However, I want to try other products first, so I might use a few others before coming back to this one. The packaging is attractively designed, and the formula has a matte feel that might be a bit heavy for dry skin. It gives a natural brightening effect and even feels like a base product. On lazy days, this alone is enough. It covers pores well and gives a smooth, matte finish.

When I bought it, all the reviews were good, but they seem fake now. The user experience is really poor. It does brighten the skin, but it makes your complexion look grayish. Make sure to use a small amount! First, spread a small amount all over your face. Then, instead of spreading more product, gently pat on another thin layer. This layering technique will give you a more beautiful application!

There weren't any downsides! If I had to nitpick, I'd say it has a slight scent? But it didn't really bother me!

If you're looking for a foundation-free makeup product or a brightening moisturizer with sun protection, pay attention to this one! I actually used to dislike brightening sun care products... My skin isn't great, so if I wasn't careful, my pores and dead skin cells would become noticeable, making my face look patchy. That's why I used to stick to just hydrating sunscreens. But this product is a game-changer! It provides a natural brightening effect, covers pores and blemishes effectively, and adheres to the skin so well that it makes my skin look beautiful! Even with my problematic skin, I can truly go foundation-free now. I find myself reaching for it so often these days.

Can I apply it with my hands, without any tools?

Yes, absolutely! While using a puff will give you even better adherence and application, applying it with your hands works great too. There's no pilling, no emphasizing of dead skin cells, and no patchiness!

How well does it cover blemishes and pores?

Since I have sensitive skin, small bumps and pimples appear on my skin... It's quite disappointing. The product has good spreadability and great skin expression, but there seems to be an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin. I wish the formula could be improved a bit more.

The skin expression is so beautifully done. It covers the blemishes to a certain extent, and the pink undertone makes it look radiant. When I apply foundation over it, it looks neat and clean.

Although I don't have very sensitive skin, I used to use the cherry blossom tone-up cream before buying this one. I applied it without knowing and fell asleep, but my cheeks and nose area turned bright red, which surprised me (as shown in the second photo). So I couldn't wear makeup for about 2 days. But if you cleanse well, it works great. It's really good. And I think it would be good for slightly oily skin types to use.
